Black women, let’s celebrate our wins from this week. Too often we don’t stop to see all the progress we making. I’ll go first: This week I got to check something off my vision board and I’m hype. More details on that later. Your turn!

Hi friends. How’s your morning going so far?
Our careers serve as pathways towards freedom. The more we move toward our divine callings, the more we break free.

Today is 11 years since I got trained as a coach at @iPECcoaching. Becoming a coach was one of the best decisions I made in my career. Looking back though, I wish there were more coaches of color and I wish diversity training was part of the curriculum.

If life coaches, executive coaches, money coaches, health coaches work with clients of marginalized identities, they must be willing to commit to their own antiracist work to be of true service. It’s an important part of healing and transformation.
Just finished listening to @cthagod audio book Black Privilege. Something told me to buy his book and I'm glad I did. Hearing a black mans perspective on how to break free of your circumstances was refreshing. Not a lot of books out there telling these stories. Highly recommend.
Proud daughter moment: My Mom was recognized as the Care Pro of the month at her local home health association not once but twice this year! I learned from her to always give my best and take pride in my work. Congrats ma!

Some studies show that the The Great Resignation is still holding strong. If you’re looking to change jobs, what’s currently holding you back?
Just a casual text conversation between Aquarius friends on a Tuesday afternoon.
Why do people get mad when I ask what the meeting is about before accepting the invitation? Like, I'm trying to see if your meeting is worth putting on my calendar boo. #boundariesoverfeelings
What we saw on Friday at Twitter is an example of unexamined, toxic layoff culture and firing practices that are devoid of humanity and respect. The folks at Twitter deserved so much better. Here's what we can learn from it. mailchi.mp/9f13e8247a31/life…

If you can get just 3 quality work tasks done in a day, you’ve won the day.
