Special thanks to Philosophy of Science (Cambridge UP) for highlighting the work of Albert Einstein alongside philosophy heavyweights like @Kevinzollman in celebration of the journal’s 90th anniversary. I think we’ll soon be hearing great things from this Albert Einstein.
Check out this great interview with Prof. Francesca Zaffora Blando!
Much of Zaffora Blando's work focuses on algorithmic randomness, a branch of logic that studies the concept of randomness from the perspective of the theory of computation. bit.ly/3QWMaMZ
ALT Francesca Zaffora Blando is pictured with her hands folded in front of her, leaning against a table. She is wearing glasses and a sleeveless black dress with multicolored flowers on it.
Pictured here is the group of young philosophers who traveled to Pittsburgh from all over the world for our annual Summer School in Logic & Formal Epistemology. Since 2005, CMU Philosophy has offered the SSLFE for free to students. We sure loved hosting the SSLFE class of 2023!
Good luck to Logic & Computation major Danna Taylor! She's competing in the NCAA singles and doubles tennis championship today! 🎾📣🙌
To our graduating seniors: This is just the first step, you’ve got this. Congratulations for getting to this point and we look forward to seeing your future successes!
