Moron: “Improved motorway flow rate caused traffic backlog all day in surrounding towns and cities.”
The “many deaths” on roads now proven to reduce fatality rates by over 50% vs other road types.

Wanna bet if you went to point out the vehicle was broken down and struck in LANE 4 and first responders are literally photographed on scene you would instantly be blocked for sharing important truthful inconvenient context?
1: argues motorway signs shouldn’t created unnecessary cognitive workload, failing to recognise he generated the workload by arguing with the sign.
2: pretends post was all about road safety still failing to realise his risk is self generated.
3: replies before running away. 👍🏻
Apparently post it on twitter to ask the wrong question because you can’t articulate what you are seeking and then complain about not getting the answer you are looking for?

“People die in other places, therefore it would only be intelligent to increase fatalities on roads.”
Truly amazing.

Well these fatalities aren’t exclusive to motorways/autobahns tho are they so your point is dumb
Past 37.5mph; the higher the speed limit, the more often congestion will occur, the longer the queue and the later the queues will dissipate.
I get you’re an impatient and clueless driver but vehicles have to have separation. The faster they go, the bigger the separation.
As confidently aggressive as he is clueless.

Absolutely fukin fed up with you fukwits operating these so called 'smart motorways'. I'd be very interested to know how many accidents are caused by you fukwits and your incompetence. Sick of putting my life in your hands every time I drive on the motorway. #FUKWITS
I need a secret private island. Some automated defence turrets, radar, a submarine, rifles, carbines, shotguns and drones. I don’t want to live forever but I don’t want to be eaten by zombies.

Crashes like this scare me and why I've always hated traffic queuing on motorways. This is a few junctions on from where I live.
Glad to see the VW UP survived.

That’s a mistake.

Auto express article by @thomaswjervis
Let’s fact check the piece and see if it is any good or if it has simply copied AA’s misinformation press release.

@thomaswjervis, it’s a free platform. If you can show how my analysis of your misinformation piece is in any way factually or methodically unfair below, I would make a correction.
I know you won’t.
Because you can’t.
Just making a point—>You can’t admit your mistakes.
Hi @thomaswjervis, you’re still young.
You still have an opportunity to choose to become a good person. It’s a choice that is always going to be harder than e.g. write for a toilet rag for advert engagement but the choice is available.
I dare you.
Maybe @NeilLancefield, @PaulBrittonMEN, @MENnewsdesk can find the courage to send a response?
Maybe find a mirror and reflect?
Maybe consider what kind of person you want to be as your children grow.
Maybe not? You do you. But don’t kill people with disinformation.
It’s time to look at Manchester Evening’s News / Reach PLC’s article.

One should do one’s best to ignore all the pop ups and adverts appearing as if they are an aggressive form of cancer and read the article.
This is what I found:
POPE reports have been out for a little bit.
Usually, when a smart motorway report lands - the usual suspects:
Claire Merced “Smart Motorways Kill”
AA’s Edmund King
Chris Patrick
Chris Ames
Start printing fear mongering misinformation.
But thus far… silence.
Welcome Steve Smith @SteveRedruth content editor and writer of @Daily_Express copied the AA’s framing wholesale. Same language, same omissions, same misuse of POPE data.
