🇺🇦 SpaceX hat dem militärischen Starlink der Ukraine in der Nacht zum 14. Oktober eine Tempogrenze verpasst, ohne Vorwarnung. Damit hängt ein Teil der ukrainischen Einsätze an der Entscheidung eines US-Konzerns.
Betroffen ist das Starshield-Paket. Terminals verlieren ab 160 km/h die Verbindung.
Der Berater des Präsidenten für Verteidigungstechnologie, Serhii Beskrestnov, bestätigte das auf Telegram.
Mehrere Einsätze wurden gestört. Eine Tempogrenze, die ausgerechnet jene trifft, die schnell sein müssen.
Wie viele Einsätze betroffen sind und welche Drohnentypen, ist offen. Normale Starlink-Terminals laufen laut dem Aktivisten Sternenko weiter.
Beskrestnov sieht einen Zusammenhang mit der politischen Lage und nennt niemanden. Sternenko vermutet einen Wunsch der Trump-Regierung. Belegt ist beides nicht. SpaceX und die ukrainischen Behörden haben Ursache und Umfang bisher nicht bestätigt.
Im Februar hatte SpaceX den Dienst schon einmal eingeschränkt. Damals war es der Wunsch des ukrainischen Verteidigungsministeriums, um russische Drohnen mit Starlink zu stoppen.

I support Donald Trump—specifically when it comes to Iran. I believe the freedom of the Iranian people will benefit the world in ways that are difficult to articulate. It will be glorious.
Having said that, using Ukraine as a punching bag, for a political stunt, is morally bankrupt. It’s just wrong.
Putin is a maniac—hands dripping with blood. Russia has been ACTIVELY working against America in the war with the Islamic regime. Russia has helped the regime kill Americans. Yet, I’m seeing some Americans cheering this “deal” on??
Trump wants to give these same people cash for oil that would sustain the US for like a week? This is beyond stupid.
Russia is an anti West hell hole.
I hope Ukraine gets all the help it needs to burn all of Russia’s refineries. They started this war. I have absolutely no sympathy for these expansionist freaks.

Today in Massachusetts, several feminist organizations held a demonstration outside MCI-Framingham, a women’s prison currently housing a shocking number of trans-identified men, many of them sex offenders.
And who joined these predominantly liberal and progressive radical feminists? Predominantly conservative men from the state’s correctional officers’ union.
Some things are so morally egregious that they’re wrong regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. And very little moves me more than seeing Americans with vastly different political beliefs come together in defense of their shared values.
Housing men in women’s prisons is a bipartisan issue, and getting them out must be a bipartisan effort. @maura_healey
