School levies are failing all over Washington State. From Puyallup to Walla Walla, the voters said no. It's not hard to understand why. People's property taxes are already sky-high, 70% of 8th graders are failing math & reading, Legislative Democrats are trying to gut the Parental Rights Initiative, and Legislative Democrats & OSPI Superintendent Reykdal keep pushing for more DEI in public schools. We hope Legislative Democrats and Superintendent Reykdal take a hard look at what their current policies are doing. We are fighting against Legislative Democrats' proposal for the LARGEST PROPERTY TAX AND RENT HIKES IN STATE HISTORY and their bills risking Federal funding by doubling down on DEI. We want parents respected, school choice, keeping the 1% cap on state and local property taxes, real accountability, and a focus on academics for students. It's time to go back to basics, truly honor the parent-child relationship, and apply good fiscal management.
