That’s a wrap on the 2026 KEDC Summer Conference! What a fabulous week of learning alongside educators from across Kentucky. I attended so many incredible sessions, and there were still so many more I wish I could have experienced. I’m leaving with new strategies and a renewed excitement for the school year ahead. A proud day for the 5th grade team at @RodburnElem. 🦚 We loved celebrating promotion with our amazing students today and are so proud of all they’ve achieved.

I’m excited and incredibly grateful to share that I was selected as a recipient of the Roots to Resilience Scholarship through @KEDCGrants and have also been accepted into @marshallu University’s School Psychology Ed.S. Program! 💚 I’m thankful for the opportunity to continue in the classroom this fall, while learning and growing through this next chapter of my career. If you had told me years ago this would be part of my story, I never would have believed you. Through @KEDC1 grant work, doors have opened that I never imagined. I’m so grateful for the opportunities and people who have encouraged me along the way. I’m also thankful to be part of @RowanSchools and @RodburnElem, where educators are encouraged to grow. I couldn’t celebrate this moment without my husband, family, and close friends for always believing in me. Most of all, I’m thankful that God continues to place purpose in this season of my life. 💚

The opportunities and civic work through @KEDCGrants have challenged and inspired our 5th grade team at @RodburnElem to create more vibrant learning opportunities in social studies. Our students don’t just learn history, they experience it.
