I’m looking to beef up my #instructionaldesign and #graphicdesign library. What one book would you say is required reading?
I need suggestions for working on #instructionaldesign projects and using a system of project management when your organization does not use any systems or tools. I am not naturally inclined in these skills and am feeling overwhelmed. Any suggestions on where to start?
Does anyone else feel overwhelmed when looking at how fabulous others’ @Articulate storyline projects are? I know I have a lot to learn still, but sometimes I feel like I’ll never have the talent or will never get there. I know I just need to be patient and it will come.
Can anyone recommend a good tutorial on using sliders to control the timeline in #articulatestoryline?
I’ve really been enjoying the videos by @sladetim from the @eLearningAcdmy website. They are very informative and engaging. I’m hoping he will make a part 2 on using PowerPoint for graphic design!
Hi all. I’m looking for some extra part-time ID work. Any suggestions on where to go? Any leads? Looking for something remote. Thanks!
Happy Independence Day! I would love to hear the two most important skills you need to have to be an elearning designer. You only get two. And go!
I am an instructional designer, but I see some of you are in Learning and Development. How do these two differ?
Are there any alternative funds out there for attending conferences? I work for a state agency, and while there is a discount, they still won’t pay. I can’t afford to pay for these expensive events myself. Any ideas?
The more I learn as an instructional designer, the more I realize I don’t know. It’s frustrating and exhilarating at the same time!
I just read “10 Lessons I Learned My First Year in Elearning” by Tim Slade @sladetim. I highly recommend it to all who need a boost of confidence and some good career advice!
To elearning designers and freelancers... I currently work for a state agency developing in Articulate. I would eventually like to freelance and need to improve my skills. What tools and skills would be priority for making this happen? Thanks!
Thanks @danielbrigham for adding me. I took your Articulate course at @lynda Linda.com and really enjoyed it.
