The idea we’re entitled to other people’s stolen work is insane to me. Make your own damn game
Imagine Elden Ring didn’t let anything go unnoticed or unexplained. It literally wouldn’t be a special game.
Part of what makes games fun and interesting is finding things ourselves, as the player in control. Why do so many teams want us mindlessly plowing through these things?
I hated Halo infinite for years and fell in love with it just as they decided to end live service.
If anything I think this speaks to how ineffective the live service model is for a lot of games. Give us a shit ton to do from the jump and we won’t get bored so fast.
Marathon will undoubtedly be my GOTY, but god the fans are so defensive (and lacking in critical thought) over the most basic facts, opinions, and observations 😭
Do they think quote-dunking Forbes articles will make the game more appealing or something ?
With Xbox it could mean anything, great chance nothing was these guys’ faults, but cmon. Two producers?
I think this has become my favorite campaign, behind 3 maybe.
The missions weren’t the best but the scale of zeta halo offset that for me. The emphasis on freedom, atmosphere, and exploration was a great idea. I hope they expand on it all some day
I have seen multiple people with CE access or HaloFest in their display name downplay, mock or even say all the negativity is from racist grifters. This stuff just pours gas on the fire.
Block and mute the grifters and have conversations with those willing to have them IMO
Seeing one of my favorite Halo YouTubers (not the big 3) go at it with members of the community and some of them are my followers is kind of depressing. Ngl, I hate how divided we as a fan base have grown. It’s very much like the political world which sucks because Halo is where I go to escape politics (real politics not science fiction politics).
But alas, gonna try to be less argumentative on this app. It really gets us nowhere because a majority of us are very stuck in our ways and don’t want to consider other peoples opinions (yes, even I am guilty of this too). #Halo
I mean the argument is Destiny, on its death bed, is more popular than their brand new shiny game, and fully pulling out is a terrible move for the studio’s future.
I don’t think these posts are a dig at marathon as much as they are pointing out how ridiculous the situation is.
For xbox to be proud of itself it needs to be SOMETHING again. Right now it’s just publishing and poor corporate culture.
Would love a focus on making Xbox *fun* again, bright colors, emphasis on social features. The 360 was lightning in a bottle in terms of identity.
It's time for Xbox to stop apologizing for its existence.
If there's one thing I think Xbox should change under new CEO Asha Sharma — it's in how Xbox presents itself to the public. Xbox needs to stop hiding.

Advertising competitors products, shying away from Xbox branding and marketing on games it owns ... It's wild to me. Xbox should be ALL OVER Call of Duty imo.

Fantastic game, weak marketing, (atm) little reason to keep playing. I kind of lose my motivation to play a game that can be this draining, when I feel I've done everything.
This game has a strong enough foundation to be more than just an extraction shooter, I hope they dance with other ideas.
These promotional skins would look awesome if they kept some of the proper accents and pouches black or something

This community is very easy to please. We jumped up and down for some classic marines and chief showing up again in 2018, or for the continued MCC support.
There will always be bad apples but I hate when people act like Halo fans are a rowdy bunch that are impossible to make happy. It just feels like the right decisions are never being made
Destiny 2 is designed so heavily towards cheap updates and stat changes that when they immediately hit a slow point, it falls off a cliff.
