Hey @Delta - got to EWR extra early for a flight (got off cruise ship early). Sky Club staff says we are NOT WELCOME until 3 hours prior to flight, even with lots of space in the club. I am 2 Million Miler and Diamond, but evidently only 360 gets exception. Really?

In 1945, American soldier Jack Lucas threw himself on two grenades; 250 pieces of shrapnel lodged in his body, but he survived. In 1961, he survived a jump when both of his parachutes failed. In 1977, his wife plotted to kill him. He died in 2008 at the age of 80.

We should be careful not to let people redefine long standing definitions too easily. Today we seem to value wisdom, less than immediacy. Which is funny since time and wisdom are correlated. A recession has been defined for years & years. Changing it feels convenient not right.

Just saw this post on Reddit and aged so much my bones turned to dust.
ALT A post from Reddit with a picture and a caption. The picture is a set of film negatives. The caption reads "Excuse my ignoraance but I'm going through old photos and I found these. I see little pics in them, what's the point?"
