I’m currently traveling internationally to speak at a conference.
The @British_Airways attendant seemed like she was having kind of a rough one so I flashed a smile and turned on the charm.
She happily helped me discover my AA status gave me BA lounge access - the BEST lounge.
Working people are having a hard time right now. This economy is bad. BAD. People are overworked and stressed out. If you’re blessed enough to be in a privileged position in the moment (and I am), have some empathy for people who have to work customer service.
Smile. Don’t be a dick. RELAX. Outside of the toxic cesspool of social media reside people who are trying to do their best and make it day by day.

In March the Victorian Parliament voted against an amendment from @_davidlimbrick to ban sex offenders from working in the sex industry…
We know that pedophiles deliberately seek out female sex workers with children so they can groom them and abuse them.
You might think that if Parliament was going to allow sex offenders to engage in the sex industry, that parliament might want to separate children from it…
You’d be wrong.
This is not about stigmatising or shaming sex workers. It’s not pearl clutching or banning adults from doing what they want with their bodies or anything like that.
Labor MPs who spoke against it tried to make it personal about me and some kind of agenda, while saying that they’ve done everything they need to do to stop this from happening - interestingly none of the speakers against the motion were able to name any existing law in all of the millions of pages of legislation in Victoria that protects children against being on the premises while sex work is taking place.
Well - I do have an agenda, and it’s to put laws in place that explicitly protect our kids against vulnerable situations involving pedos and sex work.
