Labor Day Schedule On Monday, 09/07, fixed routes (Red, Green, Teal, Maroon, Gold, and Pop 105) will operate on a Sunday Schedule. The Gray will begin at 4 pm and run until 12:30 am. The Gray will not run on Sunday, 09/06/2026. No rural route or Project on Aging service that day.

AppalCART has relocated the stop at the Crosswalk Signal Pedestrian Crossing on NC 105 to the new stoplight and pedestrian crossing located at the NC 105 @ Mountaineer Ridge intersection.

New schedule changes take effect 8-10-2026. AppalCART will be operating on a hybrid of our normal schedule to better accommodate Move-In Week at App State and increased demand for service. Routes will operate until 10 pm.

The app for AppalCART has been upgraded to ETA Transit. Be sure and download app from your app store.

AppalCART will begin Saturday service to the Watauga County Farmers’ Market during the fall and spring semesters at App State beginning Saturday, 8/15/2026 using the Gray route. The route will run from 9:05 am until 5:35 pm. A route map can be found at appalcart.com/route-maps-and… .

Saturday, 06/27/2026 Route Delays Due to road closures along the parade route, there will be no service on King St from 12 pm - 1 pm. The Maroon Route and Pop 105 Route will not operate during this time.

On Friday, 4/3/2026, AppalCART will be closed. The State Farm Shuttle will operate on Thursday, 4/2. Night Owl Service will not operate on Thursday, 4/2- Saturday, 4/4. On Sunday,4/5 only State Farm Shuttle will be operating starting at 4 pm.

The Maroon, Pop 105, Red, Green, State Farm Shuttle, and Gold routes will close from 10:55 am - 12 pm on Saturday, 3/28/2026 due to the King St road closure scheduled during that time.
