Dreamcon has ALWAYS celebrated Black Culture. People make a lot of those cosplays as Black as possible, putting aspects of their heritage in them. This whole tweet feels like assumptive judgement because why assume they would have it on Juneteenth with no Juneteenth celebration?

Respectfully, im not about to be celebrating Japanese culture on the day I should be celebrating my own, sorry I don't see it like yall do, Juneteenth was a bad idea, like yall don't have any celebrations where you live? They WON'T be acknowledging juneteenth, so... why?

Let's allow @rinnegoddess to explain why some people are mad at the Lanterns finale

Last night's finale of Lanterns is a rich study into: Nature vs. nurture Teacher vs. student What part of ourselves are our choices What do with power we've been given That will unfortunately be forgotten because it had no giant green lasers or goofy aliens.
