If I was ever sworn into a public office, I'd think I'd want to be sworn in on my fave book, The Little Prince. A small reminder that adults don't have the important stuff figured out, at all.

Just learned the slang for bisexual in Japanese is nitouryu which means “dual blade user.” That’s the coolest fucking thing ever.

To this day, the biggest fish ever caught in my childhood household was caught by a mickey mouse trainer fishing pole wielded by a 4 year old on a river in Indiana roughly 5 min after she squealed about how "squishy" a worm is.
Forget what y’all talking about this made me smile BIG ASF

When I tell you that my little sister was absolutely DISTRAUGHT when her fishing pole could not be fixed, I am not joking. She looked at that catfish DEAD IN HIS EYES and said "mean fish" before plopping in the mud and wailing like her heart was ripped out.

My dad spent months trying to find a new mickey mouse rod after she refused to go fishing without it. When he finally found one, he presented it her like a royal recieving their scepter on coronation day. She said it wasn't "the same" & grabbed a different rod we already owned.

BIG fan of publicly shaming insurance companies. Now I’m not sure these companies are capable of feeling shame, but doesn’t hurt to try!
Desperate patients—and even some physicians—have turned to publicly shaming insurance companies on social media to get tests, drugs, and treatments through the prior authorization process before it's too late, writes @laurenmsausser via @kffhealthnews buff.ly/45HqT0L

Listen, I know that this is snapshot of concerning weather patterns...but I also find it mesmerizing and could watch it on a slower loop for hours. Very lava-lamp-esque.
One of the rarest satellite loop you will ever see in your lifetime. Hurricane Hilary, 2023.

If your job requires a college degree, you should be able to write-off your student loan payments as a business expense the way CEOs write off their private jets and yachts for their jobs which require neither.

A women's rugby team in the UK just saved four people's lives. It's one of the most incredible stories you'll see on this app. Trust us, it's worth it.

Take heart! No matter what mistakes you make today, you will never be as wrong as the person who wrote, with their full chest, that Frida Kahlo "dabbles in works of art".
1933 newspaper article on Frida Kahlo in which the heading, added by an editor, reflects the way women in the arts were often presented #WomensArt

My "I'm rich" fantasy is making like a dragon and hoarding it all. Just the thought of having large numbers reported on my financial accounts every month sooths my "grew up financially insecure" heart.
