The “it’s mild” lie was my last straw, I saw the reality and the available evidence and the claim that Covid had become mild contradicted both. I decided right then that I wasn’t going to wait and see how things played out before deciding whether or not to risk my health and that of my family. I would never base our safety on the word of politicians and their appointed parrots, whose motives are dominated by self-enrichment and ensuring the best societal conditions for the rich, no matter the cost to the rest of us. It’s mild is a lie, there is plenty of proof to show it is. How can anyone base their life and survival on a known lie?

Making a new COVID research thread bc this website is trash. Part 2 of a working thread of published research on COVID 19. Every claim links to a real study. Published, peer-reviewed research from journals like Nature, The Lancet, BMJ, and Nature Medicine. Not speculation.

We VASTLY underestimate how significant social conformity is to most neurotypical people. More important than evidence or reasoning. And there will be evolutionary reasons for this. But fuck, not helpful when there’s real danger and our leaders priorities ARE NOT public health.

Hundreds of millions of people have developed chronic illnesses from Covid infections. Zero people have developed chronic illnesses from wearing masks and cleaning the air.

A brief performance review of LongCOVIDBot.com: It's now been used in 64 countries and facilitated nearly 10,000 conversations(and rapidly growing), drawing from a library of roughly 10,000 scientific papers. It's helping people navigate the literature, understand how their experiences are reflected in the research, and synthesize findings into information they can use to their benefit. It's not perfect, but I think it's doing a pretty good job. Hot tip: Ask it to "recursively retrieve for more info" rather than settling for its first response. Next up are MCP integration with Claude and media uploads (sorry it's taking so long). The site has nine months remaining. I've received no donations, but I've kept the donation widget active in case there's enough interest to fund another year. Otherwise, I don't currently plan to renew(it's spendy and I don't like supporting AI).

Long COVID can develop even after a mild COVID-19 infection. Symptoms can persist or emerge weeks or months after the initial infection, including fatigue, brain fog, shortness of breath, and other health complications. Long COVID is not limited to those who experience severe illness. Taking steps to reduce COVID-19 infections remains important for protecting your long-term health. Today, people will kill other people by giving them covid. Today, people will disable other people by giving them covid. It's the simple truth. If you don't like it, it's still true. If you don't want it to be true, it's still true.

It's year SEVEN of the COVID pandemic and we still have people saying Long Covid is a vaccine injury. 🤡 If you look specifically at the 2020 pre-vaccine window, you have a global pool of TENS OF MILLIONS of individuals who developed Long Covid BEFORE THE SHOTS EXISTED.

COVID-19 may leave a biological footprint far beyond the lungs. ➡️ A review of post-COVID research highlights how persistent inflammation, endothelial and microvascular injury, mitochondrial dysfunction, immune dysregulation and fibrotic remodeling may affect the lungs, heart, kidneys, skeletal muscles, brain and blood vessels. ➡️ Even after the acute infection resolves, the body’s repair machinery may continue to shape the aftermath—through altered energy production, damaged microcirculation and, in some patients, tissue scarring. ➡️ The big message: Long COVID is not simply a lingering respiratory illness; it can represent a multisystem process involving tissue injury, immune responses and abnormal repair. The mechanisms and extent of damage vary considerably, and persistent structural injury is not present in everyone. medicaljournals.eu/index.php…

It is estimated that 1 out of every 10,000 Covid infections is a result of surface touching. So why are we being told to wash our hands constantly by public health officials? Masking, and cleaning the air should be number 1 and 2 on their list of advice for avoiding Covid.

“Don’t panic about the Russian Plague, it’s not the time for fear mongering” Yes, because what I’ve learned over the years is that we should trust Putin and Russia, especially when it comes to the well-being of everyone else on earth. Covid has set a dangerous precedent for future failure and an unrealistic expectation of being able to ignore our way out of a crisis. So every time anything happens, that could be a threat to humans from here on out we shouldn’t talk about it because anything that makes people feel uncomfortable is now considered fear mongering? The precautionary principle was ruthlessly abandoned since the start of Covid, but “better safe than sorry”continues to be the best policy when we are faced with a new potential crisis. Being aware and prepared, is not fear mongering, it is a basic survival instinct, and the foundation of modern public health.

A review of 110 studies suggests Long COVID may accelerate biological aging and cardiovascular disease in younger adults. Persistent viral RNA and immune activation may drive chronic inflammation, vascular damage, and cellular dysfunction. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

Honestly reading this breaks my heart. As a disabled person literally just trying to survive in this never ending hell I don’t know what to do anymore. No amount of pleading or informing has helped. I don’t know if I can survive long enough until people realize the truth and act.
Replying to @Jakeli_47
My favorite thing is that COVID conscious people are basically right (COVID is awful for you, repeat infections are cumulatively damaging to your health), but they all happen to be the most insufferable people alive and so are the worst imaginable proxies

I know some of you are harassed about masking (& some of you are harassers, & fuck you, move along)… But I just realized today, Covid taught us to mask. And some learned. I’m never going back. Keep your airborne bioweapons. Keep your plagues. I’ll keep breathing thanks🙏

Thing is, people didn't just NOT LEARN, they unlearned. People have total disregard for contagious diseases and basic civic behavior towards their fellow citizens.

Just so you know: If someone has a chronic illness, but they carefully manage it so that you can see no signs of the chronic illness, they still have a chronic illness.

I can't believe I have to say this in year 7 heading into year 8, but if you want to understand how to clean the air in your home or why respirators and testing matter, not just for SARS-CoV-2 but for the 'flu and other respiratory viruses, we have you covered. If you are sick (or get sick) we also have a section for what to do if you test positive and don't want to spread it to others in your household. I'm so tired. FFS. Happy Thanksgiving, Canada. covidtoolbox.com

Hospitals are death traps. If you come out better than you went in and without nosocomial infection, it's luck and probably a lot of effort on your part. We're charged MASSIVE amounts of money for this and the insurance premiums that mostly just fund CEO yachts and private jets.
