in 2012 lil b tried out for the golden state warriors' official d-league team, the santa cruz warrios. some say that he did this in response to kevin durant as they were beefing at the time.
kevin durant had said in an interview that he didn't like lil b's music and that he couldn't play basketball. lil b responded by " putting a curse" on kevin durant, saying that he would never win a championship until lil b said he could... kd did in fact did not win one until lil b later lifted the curse in 2016 and squashed the feud. kd then won the nba championship in 2017.
