Greta Thunberg has just been arrested in London. She has only ever been involved in peaceful protest, bringing the worlds’ attention to climate change. What are the metropolitan police doing arresting her? Are we a police state?
The issue is the failure to separate and clearly demarcate policing and the pressure placed upon them by Suella Braverman. They must resist this tyrant of our times. She does not speak for me. Does she speak for you? Arresting Greta is not in my name. It is not the action of a responsible democratic government. As a barrister, I will defend her for free. It would be an honour and a privilege. @suellabravermanout @thatginamiller @VoteTrueAndFair @carolvorders #wedeservebetter

#stateofchaos If this man had shown some backbone & stood up to the Eurosceptic minority in his party and refused a referendum which hardly anyone else in the country was asking for, we'd have avoided these disastrous, wasteful years.
Watch this GbNews clip. People laughing at the idea of dying from climate change. Maybe the reality is just too enormous for them to face up to.

My thoughts on Greenpeace on Talk TV. A tough gig.
It’s unthinkable that we could lose this.
If the UK leaves the ECHR, then *people in the UK* lose all the protections listed below.
(Nobody else does, because no other country is leaving!)
It would be a massive act of self-harm, and a huge victory for a government bent on repression and fear.

More upside-down: how people praise the efforts for a submarine with a handful of wealthy people in it and then anger over migrants in flimsy vessels.
