Anthony Abad shouldered load all night for Sonora, as the senior ran for 287 yards, 4 TDs in the Raiders 41-25 win over Alemany.
Sonora has won first round games the last two seasons, but will look to get out of the CIF-SS D9 quarterfinals next week.

FINAL: Sonora 41, Alemany 25.
What a job Kevin Oberlander has done at Sonora. Two weeks ago, he got his team to win a shootout against Canyon/Anaheim to clinch an At-Large bid into the tournament, and now he's about to see his team advance to the quarterfinals. This speaks volumes for Competitive Equity. This is why the new playoff system works well.
