The function, the very serious function of racism is distraction. It keeps you from doing your work. It keeps you explaining, over and over again, your reason for being. ~ Toni Morrison ~

People often mistake socializing regularly for community. If there's no commitment to care, there's no community, no matter how fun the socializing is.

An instrument to create true apathy and feeling that nothing can change. By turning what Labour has historically stood for on its head and strong-arming policy that oppresses many it does that. "Nothing can change" "They're all the same" "What's the point in voting"
What is the point of Keir Starmer? I mean, really, what is the point of him?

Giving up on our ability to vote means they have given you a choice and you've said nothing. But through calculated dismantling many will feel "it doesn't make a difference" With less people engaged the establishment can truly usher in some of the worst people and policies.

Today Israel murdered every child in this photo. If these were Israeli kids we'd hear every western leader speak their names and every news channel tell us their story. They're Palestinians so have no names, no story and no value to western nations who "champion human rights".

This is so hateful but sums up the UK right now. People gathering together and enjoying from outside with no bother and now you're erecting fencing! All the powers that be want is us to work, pay our bills, and be miserable 💀
‘Gallagher Hill’ fenced off ahead of @oasis' next Heaton Park shows: “It’s not a wonderwall, it’s a wooden fence” Manchester City Council have suggested that fans enjoy "a real party atmosphere" in the city centre instead bit.ly/3ItfcVo

For a lot of people we don't arrive here overnight... I like many don't get the luxury of showing our true colours because every interaction verbal & non-verbal is analysed. "They were angry & aggressive" meanwhile the constant talking down, prodding, poking is overlooked!
i find it manipulative that our angry side is always seen as our "true colors" as if when we are happy and being kind, we were being fake

🚨 We’re shocked and disappointed. The UK government has pushed through HUGE cuts to Universal Credit for disabled people applying in the future. These cuts will be devastating. They risk pushing even more disabled people to food banks.

Are Birmingham City Council about to sack bin workers for refusing to take an £8,000 pay cut? Is that not fire and rehire? The very same practice this Labour government promised to outlaw.

And the Universal Credit bill has passed. Some of the sickest people in the country will suffer needlessly more now. There is no justification, no excuse. Just ugly, cruel choices by ministers too cowardly to tax the wealthy rather than cut the poor. A shameful day for Labour.

Tonight a Labour government voted to slash £2 billion from some of the poorest people in our society. They sip drinks at Mastercard HQ while disabled people are pushed to food banks. I know I speak for millions when I say: we won't take this anymore.

333 labour MPs just voted for a bill that will cut £2bn from the welfare state. Only 47 Labour MPs voted against. These were the 47⬇️

Last kicks of a dying horse. Throwing whatever they can out there now, it's all garbage... What's happening is, has been, and will be there in plain view for all that have eyes and willingness to see!

The full speech:
To equate a spray can of paint with a suicide bomb isn't just absurd, it is grotesque. It is a deliberate distortion of the law to chill dissent, criminalise solidarity & suppress the truth about UK complicity in genocide. My full speech against proscribing Palestine Action:

The levels of gaslighting in real time by state and media is genuinely outrageous! How do we ensure with the flooding of misinformation and a lot of reliance on AI that there are reliable/ true accounts available for those that seek it...
Parliament and Hansard have removed “We are all Palestine Action” from my speech on Wednesday 2 July 2025 — despite me saying it. This is a blatant attempt to censor me and rewrite the record. This is not how a democracy behaves. We will not be silenced.

Bob Vylan is not the story. Kneecap is not the story. Gary Lineker is not the story. Dawn French is not the story. Ms Rachel is not the story. Action Palestine is not the story. Glastonbury is not the story. GENOCIDE IN GAZA IS THE STORY.
