You can't help but notice that if this was in the UK context - you wouldn't be able to get a single one of these sentences out without a journalist barracking the person saying it constantly.
The UK media is in quite a state.
I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points.

So glad Ta-Nehisi said this: it is one of my bugbears that everyone gets that McCain moment wrong; even card-carrying anti-racist liberals praise McCain for that remark that was unambiguously and obviously racist. I remember Ben Affleck rightly calling it out on Bill Maher’s show years ago.

Today is election day in Israel, which is a national holiday. All voting is in person, ID required. No mail-in or absentee ballots. Arabs vote same as Israelis. Contentious process, but it's a democracy-not many of those in this region!

The Arab voters are Israeli citizens. Listing them in contrast to Israelis is misconstruing the facts.
