🎀 Did you know? Breast screening is especially for people who don’t have symptoms. 💗 Breast screening is designed to help find breast cancer at an early stage, sometimes before there are any signs or symptoms. If you’re invited for screening, don’t ignore it. And remember, if you notice a change in your breast at any time, don’t wait for your next screening appointment — speak to your healthcare professional. Screening saves time. Awareness saves lives. 💕 #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastScreening #EarlyDetection #BreastHealth #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #KnowYourBreasts

🎀 Screening can help detect breast cancer early. 💗 Breast screening can find changes in the breast before there are any noticeable symptoms. Finding breast cancer at an earlier stage can mean more treatment options and better chances of successful treatment. If you’re invited for breast screening, take the time to attend. And remember, screening doesn’t replace being aware of changes in your breasts — if you notice something unusual, speak to your healthcare professional. Early detection matters. Check, screen and speak up. 🌸 #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastScreening #EarlyDetection #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #KnowTheSigns #PinkOctober

🎀 Small, healthy choices can make a difference. 💗 While breast cancer cannot always be prevented, some lifestyle choices may help reduce the risk. Staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, eating a balanced diet, avoiding smoking and limiting alcohol can all contribute to better overall health. There’s no guaranteed way to prevent breast cancer, but looking after your health is a positive step you can take. 🎀 Small changes to your diet can support your health and may help lower the risk of breast cancer. 💗 A balanced diet rich in vegetables, fruit, wholegrains, beans and other plant-based foods can be part of a healthy lifestyle. It’s also helpful to limit processed meats, eat less red meat, and avoid or limit alcohol. No single food or diet can prevent breast cancer, but healthy everyday choices can contribute to reducing risk and supporting overall wellbeing. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let’s make our health a priority — one positive choice at a time. 🌸 #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastCancerPrevention #HealthyEating #HealthyLifestyle #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #PinkOctober

September is #GynaecologicalCancerAwarenessMonth. Swipe to learn the key symptoms of the five gynaecological cancers.   Knowing what’s normal for you can help you spot changes.   Having any of these symptoms doesn't mean you have cancer, but it’s important to get checked by a GP.
