Have you ever thought there is nothing really to learn in Terraform
You just need to understand:
> How resources, variables, outputs, and modules work
> How state works and why it matters
> How Terraform builds the dependency graph
> How "plan" and "apply" actually behave
> How to read provider documentation
> How to structure reusable modules
> How to manage environments and remote state
> How to avoid destroying production by mistake
That's it

You write a VPC module once. Now every team, every environment, every project uses the exact same code.
No more copy-paste Terraform files drifting into different versions. No more "wait, why does this VPC have 3 subnets and that one has 2?" No more arguing about what a best-practice VPC looks like.
You define it once. You use it 100 times.
Modules turn messy copy-paste infrastructure into standardized building blocks. Input variables control what changes.
Outputs expose what matters. Everything else is hidden complexity that the user doesn't need to see.
A good module feels invisible to the user. It just works.
Raw Terraform scales terribly. Your code balloons. Best practices scatter. Teams reinvent the wheel. Modules scale infinitely.
One person defines the pattern. Everyone else composes services from building blocks.
This is how infrastructure scales with teams.
Write once. Use everywhere. Repeat.

Infra is not underpaid everywhere.
Some companies treat SRE as support. Some treat it as core engineering.
Don't switch domains too early. Switch to a company where reliability actually matters.

Before Kubernetes, I had one app running on a VM.
After Kubernetes, I have 12 YAML files, 4 services, 3 ingress rules, 2 dashboards and somehow I'm debugging 4 nodes now.

This GitHub repo is a goldmine for anyone preparing for DevOps interviews.
I've been a member of Abhishek Veermall's private Discord community for over a year.
Many of us actively interview at different companies and contribute the questions we encounter.
These aren't scraped from Google.
They're shared by candidates after real interviews, making this one of the most practical resources for interview preparation.

Meet Balwant Singh, who completed his B.Tech from Guru Jambheshwar University. This guy got only 46% in his 10th and 62% in his 12th, and he was not able to apply for a single job as the basic job criteria was above 60%.
He started with 1.8 LPA, and today he is a Senior Software Developer at Publicis Sapient, earning 30+ LPA 🔥.
After 10th, he did a polytechnic, and back then, he was interviewed by Nokia and Samsung. He cleared the initial rounds but was rejected during HR because of his 42% in 10th.
So, he did B.Tech and then M.Tech to cover his 10th and 12th marks so that people would look at his recent marks, but the same thing happened.
So, he started doing freelancing for 2K–3K and then started doing projects through references. Finally, he started his journey at 1.8 LPA and worked his way up to 30+ LPA at Publicis Sapient, a big MNC in the US.
He failed everywhere, but he never quit.
