I want you and every former coach and player to go on TV and explain to the world why the TV broadcast that is not accurately syncing with the in stadium and replay clocks that players, coaches and refs involved in the game can't see at all should be what determines the game.
Insane take. Talk about the protocol being broken not defending the rightful loser.
If the proper protocols for replay weren’t followed then the FBS Oversight committee should overturn the result of the game and make Western Michigan the winner of the game against Michigan.
Period. End of Story.
Saying “hey they got it wrong, but we won’t fix it” only makes it worse and is a slap in the face to the fans of football everywhere.
Imagine spending two weeks screaming that Michigan cheated just to find out there actually was 1 second left and your entire argument is that the refs used the correct clock instead of the wrong clock they were “technically” supposed to use.
A generational masterclass in being loud and wrong.

The Big Ten used the correct clock to get the call right but the NCAA wants you to know they should have followed what was a previously unwritten protocol to use the clock that was wrong to get the call wrong.

Hahaha always the same story. Michigan never wins a game. The other team just must suck. But before the game everyone said Michigan was going to get blown out. Rinse. Repeat.
The refs just reset the game clock from 3:14 to 3:16 in favor of Oklahoma so you know Michigan is cheating again.

This is one of the closest plays we’ve ever seen. But there isn’t some “conspiracy”.
Here's the game clock footage in my original vs NBC's supposedly synced game clock. You can see that in NBC's version, the game footage is lagging behind their clock's footage. Hope this clears up my original post. Also to everyone saying my original post was wrong/stupid, enjoy being wrong lmao. Pause at any point and you'll see how off theirs was

Used Astra to sync two camera angles, check the visible stadium-clock ticks, and examine the first touch frame by frame.
Both possible frames when the ball was first touched leave time remaining. Even using the latest possible frame & shifting the sync one frame against Michigan leaves about 0.03 seconds on the clock..
