Struck by the number of places looking to reimagine place-based collaboration & accompanying #governance arrangements - which requires a total reimagining of what this governance is & does. Places embracing #missions & #citygoals, looking to mobilise x-sector action & commitment
It requires a fascinating bringing together of thinking & models from a range of fields, including PSR, system thinking, missions, collective impact, system leadership, collaboration, movement building...
@DarkMatter_Labs' Beyond the Rules is inspiring on this 🙏. Also @MazzucatoM of course. & @EssexPSR should be recognised for trying to do this for some time!
*Niche question*
Looking for intell abt how places are thinking abt Integrated N'hood Teams being set up in many places under ICBs/HCPs & integrated locality teams which include wider public sector & are place (often council) led. Is anywhere doing this in a joined up way? 🙏

We've loved working with @WiganCouncil & local people and partners to help build a new era of reform in Wigan borough over the past year. As @AlisonMc_F said yesterday, the answers were always in Wigan. We just helped surface them! Thankyou everyone in Wigan for having us 😊
Today, we came together with partners from across the borough to formally launch our new era. A big thank you to all those who have been on this transformation journey and helped shape our missions for the place and our communities. Together, we are stronger. #ProgressWithUnity
Bit of Sunday prep for the next #LeadingGreaterEssex day. Recapping some foundational ideas before we dive into the how & why of learning & adaptation in complex systems/public services 🌱

Read Wigan CEO @AlisonMc_F and our outgoing CEO @annarandle in the current @themjcouk to find out more about where @WiganCouncil & partners are heading in their new era of reform: Progress with Unity
Brilliant piece from @AlisonMc_F & @annarandle. So excited to see where we take our New Era of reform with our residents, communities, partners, businesses and staff. A genuine movement of change co-designed by the amazing people of our borough ❤️
Privilege to be part of this summit and the work to cocreate a new era of reform in #wonderfulwigan over the past year 🙏 cc @CollaborateCIC

Looking forward to the summit with partners tomorrow, reflecting on where they've reached in their work together, learning from the past & co-creating the new era of reform.

@annarandle in @themjcouk - shift away from ‘doing to’ towards ‘doing with’. Council leaders are acting more as place leaders rather than managers of siloed organisations - increasingly complex challenges demand this type of #RadicalPlaceLeadership @ProfDonnaHall @GeorgeT80
Anna Randle @CollaborateCIC considers how the collaboration agenda across public services has changed in the past eight years, and says that with a new era of mission-driven government ahead there is still plenty to do

Take a look at our CEO @annarandle's article about how she thinks the debate about collaboration in public services has changed during her 8 years at Collaborate.

Biggest privilege to work on this with @WiganCouncil & many, many local partners & people. Exciting to see the new era of reform take off, building on the radical spirit of the Deal & renewing the collective commitment of the council & partners to tackle challenges together 🌱

How the growth in collaboration across public services & #localgov has been part of the 'quiet revolution'- recent piece from me in @themjcouk as I prepare to leave @CollaborateCIC 🥹
Thanks & props as ever to @Voa1234 for the opportunity & the foresight

It's been great to work with @IPPRNorth in Wigan over the past year & to see @CollaborateCIC's Chair/Founder @Voa1234 become the new @IPPR Chair now too 🌱🤝
“The new government is brimming with the alumni of a think-tank that has quietly become one of the most powerful policy factories in Westminster.”
Great to be featured in the @FT by @PickardJE showcasing some of IPPR’s most influential work!
