Echoing the teachings of Jesus and calling out Trump's cruelty, ignorance, and bigotry to his face, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde delivers a sermon for the ages. Bishop Budde stared down authoritarian fascism and said 'Not today, motherfucker.' 😳👇

When I started talking about Oligarchy, many people didn't understand what I meant.
Well, that's changed.
When the 3 wealthiest men in America sit behind Trump at his inauguration, everyone understands that the billionaire class now controls our government.
We must fight back.

The world feels a whole lot more terrifying this morning - especially for any hope of climate action. Right now I feel sick. But I also know we have choices on how to respond - and will try even harder to light candles rather than curse the darkness 🕯️

It’s a wrap on #2024UNCSC! @TheBrooke joined ImPACT coalitions on Earth governance & underrepresented communities highlighting the vital role of #AnimalWelfare, #AnimalHealth & working animals.
A major omission: health! Human health was missing from the discussions, spurring the #CommitToHealth campaign. Yes, and we should go even further, pushing for #OneHealth, for animals, people & planet.
Next step, how will this process continue? How will recommendations find their way into #PactForTheFuture #SummitForTheFuture?
