I'm really sick of this cop-out. The EU Commission gives millions every year to researchers and others with the explicit goal of removing sex as a coherent category in law, and then they just stick this disclaimer on all the material they produce.
The EU can't give gender activists the laws that they want, so instead they give them money to "drive the narrative". This is the outcome of the money, but the EC pretends not to be involved. There is currently a whole bunch of projects dedicated to getting males into women's sports, for example. But no, the Commission "can't be held responsible" for giving them millions in public money.
If taxpaying citizens knew how many billions have been blown on this kind of unpopular elite nonsense by the @EU_Commission, there'd be riots in the streets. This one alone cost €2.3 million. @hadjalahbib @EUCssrMcGrath

Í Bandaríkjunum sendi heilbrigðisráðuneytið (HHS) lokabréf til leiðandi læknasamtaka og krafðist skýrra svara um afstöðu þeirra til þess sem ráðuneytið kallar „sex-rejecting procedures“ fyrir ólögráða, það er kynþroskablokkera, krosshormóna og skurðaðgerða.
Bréfin fóru til World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, American Psychological Association, Endocrine Society og fleiri.
Ráðuneytið biður samtökin um að lýsa núverandi afstöðu og greina frá áformuðum breytingum á leiðbeiningum, með tilliti til HHS-skýrslu frá 2025 sem metur skaða slíkra inngripa meiri en hugsanlegan ávinning.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sagði að samtök sem setji staðla fyrir umönnun barna beri ábyrgð á að útskýra sönnunargögnin á bak við þau og að foreldrar og læknar eigi rétt á gagnsæi. Svar er vænst innan tíu virkra daga.

This is the heartbreak that is so often ignored.
When boys play girls’ sports, the boys get institutional support and sympathetic media profiles, while adults in charge congratulate themselves on their virtuous ability to ignore reality.
But girls are left abandoned on the sidelines, grappling with a devastating but unmistakable message: “You don’t matter.” States like Washington will toss girls’ fairness, safety, and opportunity aside the moment it interferes with the interests of a boy who claims to be a girl.
This isn’t just wrong. It’s a deliberate decision to treat girls worse than boys and demand sacrifices from them that boys don’t have to make. This is unlawful sex discrimination under Title IX.
That’s the argument we made in a recent application to the Supreme Court. On behalf of our client Kallie Keeler, we asked the Court to stop this unlawful discrimination and make Washington state give her a fair and safe playing field so she can play the sport she loves.
This scene just shows several more human reasons why the Court’s action is needed.

We are a good six years into the period where most people know this is going on, most realise it's wrong and yet it's still left to teenage girls to take a stand because so many adults have let them down.

Metallica frontman James Hetfield took a swipe at artists who use their concerts to lecture audiences about politics during the band's Las Vegas residency.
In what could easily be seen as a dig at the likes of Macklemore, Hetfield told the crowd:

Ég er komin með uppí kok af svona orðræðu frá útlendingum sem velja það að koma hingað og kvarta svo og kveina yfir öllu og uppnefna íslensku þjóðina í þeirri trú að þeir geti beitt okkur andlegu ofbeldi til að fá sínu framgengt.
