The “real Iranians” discourse in diaspora is so annoying. We are all Iranian. Having a different viewpoint doesn’t nullify your nationality or ethnicity.

Three protesters were executed in Iran on Thursday after being accused of killing two police officers during nationwide protests earlier this year, the judiciary-linked Mizan news agency reported. Identified as Mehdi Ghasemi, Saleh Mohammadi and Saeed Davoudi, the three were accused of attacking two police officers with knives and swords during protests on January 8 in the holy city of Qom. The authorities also accused them of acting on behalf of Israel and the United States, a frequent claim used by the Islamic Republic against protesters and dissidents. The hangings were carried out after the case was approved by the Supreme Court, according to Mizan. iranintl.com/en/202603198407

That’s why we see so many people with broken moral compasses these days

TRUMP. PERSERNES FRELSER.

Yes yes yes and yes’s The love for the regime by specifically from leftist westerns is baffling
Iran's regime invested in a vast foreign lobby of journalists, scholars, and NGO advocates precisely for this moment. On PBS, BBC, CNN, etc I am hearing their talking points and little else. No wonder people in the West can't understand why the Iranian people welcome this war.

I have been anti-war my entire life. Under normal circumstances, I would be calling for peace. But this time I’m sitting it out. I cannot say #nowarwithiran in good conscience when I know what the day after a #ceasefire looks like for people in Iran. We have already lived through this. After the June 2025 ceasefire, the regime turned inward and thousands of Iranians were murdered and tens of thousands arrested in brutal reprisals. If you cannot address what happens the day after, you are ignoring the people who will bear the consequences. Your stance is not the as principled as you think.

Far right Iranian diaspora will call you regime if you’re not dancing to Bandari and Toshmal while thanking 🇮🇱 as bombs drop. Far left will call you a war monger for sharing literal messages from inside of Iran, and sharing regime crimes. Absolutely incredible timeline, folks.

This is amazing! The Kurds will be the leading forces on the ground to help topple the regime!
🚨🚨EXCLUSIVE: A senior official from the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI), Mohammed Salih Qaderi, tells me that a large Kurdish force is already inside Iranian territory. The military campaign against Iran will begin "soon", he says (1/3) @PDKIenglish #IranWar

Something strange is happening in the information war. Young Americans defending regimes like the Islamic Republic of Iran that jail protesters, strip women of rights and execute people for being gay. Self-described patriots on the right suddenly echoing narratives that benefit a country like Russia — which is openly hostile to the United States. How does that happen? Not through tanks or missiles. Post by post, people get pulled into camps that don’t actually serve their own country or their own values. They become pieces on a chessboard in a GRAY WAR — a conflict fought with information instead of bullets. And most people don’t even realize they’re part of it. The battlefield isn’t overseas anymore — it’s in your feed.

Holy shit. Wow. This is HANDS DOWN the best take I’ve heard. If there is one video you listen to today it’s this one. Every single word of this and it’s a huge “f*ck you” to @antonioguterres for propping up the barbaric terrorist Islamic Regime in Iran. Must be shared everywhere in my opinion. Unfortunately I have no idea who this young British woman is to credit her, if you know who it is feel free to tag below.

Afghan women had a lot more rights and opportunities during the time of international presence in Afghanistan, including the opening of schools to millions of girls and the entry of women into the workforce, judiciary, and parliament. Women had LEGAL protections. You and other privileged Western Muslim women constantly harbor Islamist fantasies about compelling women to wear the hijab and refer to it as a "matter of choice." It's a disgrace that your brethren in religion have buried these innocent Iranian and Afghan women alive in black shrouds, and you have no compassion for them. It's a blatant betrayal of your own kind. Hang your head in shame, only if you have left any decency in your heart.
Replying to @AyoCaesar
Are women in Libya better off after Western intervention? Or Afghanistan? How did they fare after ISIS rose to power in Iraq? You have your Western fantasies about bombing women out of the hijab or whatever, and take no responsibility for what happens next.

Over the past 24 hours, two viral tweets have spread false claims about the military strike in Minab, Iran, that killed schoolgirls — a strike whose origin has not yet been independently verified. One is from an account frequently amplified by pro-Israel voices in Israel and The United States. The other is from an account that has somehow amassed thousands of followers in a matter of days. First, the Nioh Berg tweet claims that the regime has admitted that the IRGC mistakenly bombed the school. The regime has admitted no such thing. If you believed this to be true, why have you allowed your critical thinking and common sense to take a vacation when assessing whether this news is accurate or not? Do you think a criminal, brutal, lying regime facing the greatest threat it has ever faced in its 47-year history would be out here admitting that it killed dozens, if not over 100, schoolgirls while the country is filled with resentment and anger toward it? Second, the account she cites as a reputable source is mistakenly believed by people to be an official regime account. It’s not; it is a pro-Pahlavi, anti-regime account. Nioh’s tweet has been shared all over, and her screenshots are being ripped and used by other influencers. The second tweet claims to show that it was an IRGC misfired rocket. As noted in the tweet, that shot is from 1,300 km from the school. Like Nioh’s tweet, the screenshots from this tweet have also been ripped and used by other users who haven’t received the community note this account did. The truth is, it could have been an IRGC misfired rocket or missile. It’s just that the evidence these two users have posted — and which subsequently went viral — is not accurate at all. We know that Israel and the United States were operating in the area. The U.S. says it is investigating the matter, and Israel denies that it bombed the school. Major news organizations have not yet independently verified who is responsible for this. Why does this matter? Especially when I despise this regime? I am defending the integrity of the information that the Iranian people and the world need to make informed decisions in a moment of historic consequence. Khamenei is dead. The regime is in crisis. The choices made in the coming weeks and months will shape Iran for a generation. If those choices are made on the basis of lies, the outcome will be corrupted from the start. You are also handing the regime a gift and you are contributing to the long-term degradation of trust. It is utterly depressing — but not surprising — how many people accepted these two tweets as fact, particularly Nioh’s tweet, and then went on to spread it independently.

What’s up with all the white western Islamist extremist lovers in favor of keeping the Iranian regime in power? Where did ya’ll emerge from? 😂😂😂 Is this cause you hate Israel more than your desire to want basic human rights for 90 million Iranians?

What I remember about President Obama: - Turning his back on #Iran's 2009 uprising - Allowing Assad gas innocent civilians in #Syria - Selling off America's Middle East allies - Bending over backwards to reach a highly flawed #IranDeal with Tehran's mullahs Need I say more?

#IranProtests2020 Iran is a tinderbox. In November it was gas prices. In January it's downing of plane. People are fed up. Tehran chants, "We don't want missiles, we don't want bombs. We don't want corrupt officials."
