To people laughing at the idea of Joaquin Tovera possibily giving Alas a run for his money, this is a reminder that Tovera’s playing time prior to the Cortez injury was coming off the bench (unlike Alas). Today, Tovera gets heavy starter minutes and plays waaaaaay better than Alas. It was not an insane idea. DLSU just did not need to rely on him as a rookie unlike ADMU does with Alas the entire season 🤷🏻‍♂️

40% of Ateneo’s student population being scholars already challenges the narrative that it’s only for the privileged. And everything you mentioned as an advantage of DLSU is also available at ADMU, so I don’t see how those points automatically make DLSU the better choice.
