IMO, a Smash part II that is community-made is a dope idea but becomes even more dope if we use characters that already exist rather than come up with new IP.
If this is what I think it is, here is a list of public domain characters I have conveniently compiled:
Aladdin
Robin Hood
Alice in Wonderland
Daredevil
Dracula
Felix the Cat
James Bond
Sherlock Holmes
Frankenstein
Oswald Rabbit
King Kong (!!!)
Mickey Mouse (Steamboat)
Hercules
Hansel and Gretel
Jack Frost
Merlin
Mulan
Little Red Riding Hood
Peter Pan
Pinocchio
Puss in Boots
Winnie the Pooh
Scrooge/Huey/Dewie/Louie
Little Mermaid
Rapunzel
Tarzan
Zorro
Tin Man
Cowardly Lion
Scarecrow
Cheshire Cat
Mad Hatter
Don Quixote
Thor
Death
And soon to enter:
Popeye (2025)
Pluto (2026)
Goofy (2028)
Donald Duck (2030)
After the Big House Online shut down nearly 4 years ago, I started a side project.
It's a custom engine and a game designed for Melee players. The technical side is quite far along but we need major help on the visual / polish side.

Arco has +150 reviews, 98% being positive ✨
Sadly, we are struggling to make people notice about the game itself, being considered already as a "hidden gem"💎
Our gameplay trailer shows how Arco works, and hopefully it will catch your eye 👀
A RT will help us A LOT🙏

So, I was already working on a short piece talking about @fleischertoons and my personal history with the likes of Popeye and Betty Boop.
Then, I was asked to briefly cover @MuseumModernArt's upcoming film series on it!
I have incredible comedic timing.

Here's a story maybe no one would expect of me.
My Photobucket Account Is Subject To Deletion, and Photobucket really wants me to know that that's the case.
They've made sure to tell me many times a month!
What does it mean?

5 months ago Patrick Harpin walked into @wbpictures @DCofficial and pitched a 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 Animated Feature.
Before we pitched, they warned us "there is absolutely no way we can do a 𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 movie", but they loved our enthusiasm. We pitched the outline for the entire film, and what started as a 'never' turned into a 'maybe'.
In the time since, we've been pitching our way up the company hoping to get to @jamesgunn. But for now, here's a taste of what we've been cooking.
