🌳Having grown up in Nottinghamshire, not far from the festival site, and having been introduced to veganism in the county, Vanessa was delighted to be part of such a huge festival taking place on home turf with several thousand expected to attend over the course of the weekend.

Celebrating academic achievements while trashing shared green spaces? Weavers Fields, Bethnal Green, London strewn with discarded egg cartons, flour packets, plastic bottles & school uniforms today. Why aren’t the LA @TowerHamletsNow & local schools doing more to prevent this?

The macaques are flown into Manchester Airport for onward journeys to vivisection laboratories across the UK. We now hope the issue will be raised at full council on 22nd July. @WiganCouncil @manairport #wigan #macaques #monkeys #flightsofmisery #manchesterairport

💡In each of these wards Animal Welfare Party stood for the first time ever and, we believe, our candidates made a small piece of history, asserting as they did that animal issues cannot be sidelined in political decision-making. /
