I’ve been in a few spinning cars in my time, but none like this. Mercedes-Benz EQG uses its four electric motors - one driving each wheel - to perform this party trick. Proper low range and ultra precise torque control by e-motors makes it formidable off-road. @MercedesBenz

Across Hardknott Pass in the Lakes District in the Aston Martin DBX707 today. Roman fort built in 110AD in the distance. ⁦@AstonMartinPR⁩ ⁦@MotorTrend⁩

motortrend.com/reviews/2024-… Driving the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is like drawing back the curtain and getting a glimpse of what's going on inside Christian von Koenigsegg's head. And it's a truly extraordinary place.

motortrend.com/reviews/2023-… The @Mercedes-AMG EQE is an electric car that delivers performance and handling that—like the most iconic AMG cars—simply bludgeons any road into submission. But it's not a hammer. It's a whispering assassin.

Some days at the office are better than others. Today was one of them. Can’t tell you how the ⁦@Ferrari⁩ #Daytona SP3 drives just yet, though. Stay tuned.

The ⁦@Audi⁩ S8 has always flown under the radar, even the one launched in 2006 with the V10 Lambo engine. The refreshed 2022 S8 packs the Porsche-developed 563-hp twin-turbo V8 and is quicker and more agile. It’s also smoother and much more refined. A proper grand tourer.

The @PlanetGMA T.33 is Gordon Murray's follow up to T.50, his 21st century remaster of the McLaren F1. Not quite as radical, but 4.0L naturally aspirated V12 still makes 607hp at 10,500rpm & 1090kg target weight means better power to weight ratio than the F1. £1.37mill, plus tax.

All action at @BentleyMotors. Five new BEV Bentleys to be launched from 2025 to 2030. First new electric Bentley will be additional to the lineup. The rest will be BEV replacements for the current Flying Spur, Bentayga, Conti GT Coupe and Conti GT Convertible models.

As colors go, this is close to peak ⁦@Lamborghini⁩. I think it’s called Viola Mithras, from the Ad Personam collection. Certainly pops on a grey day. Especially on something as big as an #Urus.

First glimpse of the ⁦@INEOSGrenadier⁩ in the metal. Still grappling with how much it plagiarizes ⁦@LandRover⁩ IP - it would have been interesting to have seen a more original take on modern utilitarian design. Looking forward to finding out how it drives.

Interesting run in the @Everrati @LandRover Series IIA. Feels just like the Series II in which I learned to drive, but instead of the 70hp four-banger chugging away up front, there's the whirr of a 150hp e-motor. And it's better for it. 60kWh battery, 125mi range.

And now for something completely different: A Japanese market Suzuki Spacia street parked in south London. Japan’s tiny kei cars and vans are a truly fascinating automotive genre.

Didn’t expect to like the ⁦@MercedesBenz⁩ EQB350. Dual-motor EV powertrain - smoother, quieter, punchier than the ICE units in the near identical GLB - turns a dull SUV into a mini-luxury car worthy of the 3-pointed star without affecting the impressive interior packaging.

In 35 yrs I’ve never had unsolicited praise for the looks of a @Hyundai I’ve been testing, but it happened twice during my week with the Ioniq 5. It is a handsome thing, and the design disguises how big it really is. Looks Golf-sized in isolation, but those are 20in wheels.

Got up close & personal with the @MercedesBenz EQXX last month. This is what a company that's been building cars for more than 100yrs can do when it decides to engineer a better EV. EQXX is a fully functional prototype that previews upcoming MB EV tech. The gloves are off, @Tesla

Delighted to have the cover story in Issue 9 of the always wonderful @roadratmagazine I first drove the @Honda #NSX in Japan more than 30 years ago. It was clear, from the very first mile, this was a car that was going to change everything. Its impact is still evident today.

How the view from behind the wheel of a sports car used to look. Rugged up against the late November chill & did 160 miles through southern England with the roof down in a ⁦@morganmotor⁩ Plus 4. It’s quirky but surprisingly fast & most of all, fun. Made me smile every mile.

He would have been 89 today. Hard to believe he's been gone almost 6 years. Miss you, Dad. bit.ly/32m91ND
