๐ Iโve just released a brand-new course: ๐ง๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ.

Angular has changed a lot over the last few years.
If youโre learning Angular today, I donโt think it makes much sense to start with older patterns and syntax, only to replace them later.
So I rebuilt the beginner course from scratch around
We start with an empty Angular application and build a complete application step by step using:
โค Signals and computed()
โค Signal-based inputs and outputs
โค @if, @for, @switch, and the new template syntax
โค Components and component communication
โค Services and dependency injection
โค HTTP and backend data
โค Loading and error states
โค Zoneless change detection
โค Updating data on the server

The idea behind the course is simple:
Angular is a big framework, but you don't need to learn everything at once.
A relatively small part of Angular is what you will use every day.
So the course focuses on that part first, and introduces each concept only when you actually need it.
Every lesson builds directly on the previous ones, and every line of Angular code in the final application is code that we write together.
If you're learning Angular for the first time, coming from another framework, or haven't looked at Angular in a few years, this is the course I would recommend starting with.

๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐
Angular today isn't the framework most courses were written for. Signals have gone from an experimental API to the foundation the framework is built on, zoneless is here, and standalone is the default.

Iโm very happy to announce that Angular Router In Depth (Signals Edition) is now fully available!
Angular Router In Depth (Signals Edition)
๐ angular-university.io/courseโฆ
About This Course
The Angular Router is the skeleton of every Angular application. It determines how the application is structured, how pages load, how data reaches components, and how users navigate through the product.
But once you move beyond basic routes and navigation links, the router is also one of the least understood parts of Angular.
This new course changes that.
We start with an application that has no routing and progressively implement practically every routing scenario you are likely to encounter in a real Angular project.
The course includes 43 lessons and almost five hours of video, covering topics such as:
โค Lazy loading with loadComponent and loadChildren
โค Route parameters, resolvers, and component input binding
โค Authentication, child-route, exit-confirmation, and feature-flag guards
โค Route-scoped providers and services
โค Navigation state, transient information, and advanced URL handling
โค Custom preloading strategies and router events
โค Signals-based router APIs and view transitions
โค Scroll restoration and navigation error handling
โค Custom URL matchers and named outlets
Everything is built with modern Angular, including standalone components, signals, zoneless change detection, and functional guards and resolvers.
The course also includes a complete running GitHub repository.
After completing the course, you can earn a verifiable Certificate of Completion that you can download as a PDF and add to your LinkedIn profile or CV.

๐ This week, you have a new hour of content for the ongoingย Angular Router In Depth (Signals Edition) course!
๐ The course is currently in pre-launch mode. New lessons are available weekly until the course is completedย by the end of this month.
Angular Router In Depth (Signals Edition)
๐ angular-university.io/courseโฆ
๐ฅIn this week's lessons we are covering most of Part 1 of the course where we cover the most used features of the Router. Part 2 will cover the niche and more advanced features.
One the most important features are child routes, nested outletsย and a master-detail navigation with detail to detail navigation.
๐About this course
This is a complete, modern deep dive into one of the most powerful โ and most underused โ parts of Angular.๐
The Angular Router is much more than navigation between pages. It is the backbone of every Angular application, responsible for application structure, data loading, authentication, lazy loading, and much more. Yet most developers only scratch the surface of what it can do.
โก๏ธ Besides, the router is now fully integrated with signals. You don't have to use the legacy RxJs-based APIs anymore.
In this course we'll explore everything from the fundamentals to advanced routing patterns using the latest Angular APIs:
โ
Standalone Components
Signals
โ
Zoneless Change Detection
โ
Functional Guards & Resolvers
โ
Modern provideRouter() configuration
We'll start with an application that has no routing at all and progressively build a production-ready routing architecture while covering both the essential concepts and the advanced features that are rarely explained in depth.
๐Some of the topics covered include:
โ
Lazy loading with loadComponent and loadChildren
โ
Functional guards (canActivate, canDeactivate, canMatch, canActivateChild)
โ
Route resolvers
โ
Child routes and nested outlets
โ
Route-scoped dependency injection
โ
Navigation extras (state, info, browserUrl, replaceUrl, skipLocationChange)
โ
Query parameter handling
โ
Custom preloading strategies
โ
Router events and navigation loading indicators
โ
Signals integration with the Router
View Transitions
โ
URL Matchers
โ
ROUTER_OUTLET_DATA
โ
Navigation error handling
โ
Scroll restoration
โ
And much more.
The course follows the same practical approach as my other Angular University courses: every concept is demonstrated by building real application features that you'll encounter in production.
๐ I hope you enjoy the course, and as always, if you have any questions, I'm here to help.
๐ Happy learning!

๐ New Course Launched: Angular Forms In Depth (Signals Edition)
๐ I've just launched a brand new course โ Angular Forms In Depth ( Signals Edition) โ that teaches you to build any form you'll ever need using the new Angular Signal Forms API.
The course is fully complete, and I've used a new way of recording. Instead of typing, the code is progressively unveiled bit by bit.
โจ This makes the course signal-to-noise ratio much better. ๐

If you've ever wrestled with reactive forms, FormControl, nested form groups, or async validators, you'll want to see this.
โก Signal Forms is a complete redesign of Angular forms built around signals: model-driven, fully typed, and with a fraction of the boilerplate of reactive or template-driven forms.
๐ฏ By the end of the course you'll be able to:
โ
Build any form from scratch with Signal Forms
โ
Apply built-in, custom, and async server-side validators
โ
Create reusable custom controls that plug straight into the form system
โ
Handle conditional fields, cross-field validation, and dynamic arrays
โ
Integrate Zod via Standard Schema
โ
Ship production patterns: unsaved-changes guards, multi-step wizards, file upload with progress, and draft pre-saving
๐ป We build it all through a single real-world sample app, with a running GitHub repo you can clone and follow along.

The form derives from the data, not the other way around. This eliminates a whole category of bugs where you'd update the form but forget to update the component state โ and nothing would tell you something was wrong.

Responding to field changes used to mean subscribing to value changes and manually orchestrating enable, disable, and validator updates.
Now you declare the relationship once and Angular keeps it in sync. ๐

Because validators are plain functions, you can extract and reuse them across any form in the app.
No special registration.
No service injection.
No ceremony. โจ

The old contract for a custom form control required four methods and careful lifecycle management. The new one reduces this to a single value input/output. ๐

There is no special form array construct. Just use applyEach to define your array item form schema. Then add or remove items in your model signal and the form reacts.
Again, the source of truth is the data, not the form.

๐ I'm excited to announce that the first lessons of my brand-new course are available:
๐ฅ Angular Forms In Depth (Signals Edition)
โก This course is currently in PRE-LAUNCH, and new lessons are being published every week.
๐ Right now, the course already includes 15 lessons and 1 hour 43 minutes of content, with much more on the way.
๐ฏ What Is This Course About?
Angular Signal Forms is a complete redesign of Angular Forms built around signals.
Instead of working with FormControl, FormGroup, and Observable-based APIs, Signal Forms introduces a more intuitive signal-driven approach with dramatically less boilerplate and a much cleaner developer experience.
In this course, you'll learn Signal Forms from the ground up by building enterprise-level forms and implementing the same patterns used in production Angular applications.
We'll cover everything from simple login forms to complex multi-step workflows, including:
โ
Form validation and error handling
โ
Custom validators
โ
Zod and Standard Schema integration
โ
Reusable custom form controls
โ
Nested forms
โ
File upload controls with progress indicators
โ
Route guards for unsaved changes
โ
Initializing forms from backend data
โ
Async server-side validation
โ
Conditional forms
โ
Form arrays
โ
Multi-step wizards
โ
Draft auto-saving and restoration
๐ฏ The goal is simple: by the end of the course, you'll be able to build virtually any form with Angular Signal Forms confidently and efficiently.
