BYU Quarterback Bear Bachmeier revealed he had some extra motivation in the win over Notre Dame.
Bachmeier was recruited by Notre Dame in the 2025 class, but the Irish ultimately focused on Deuce Knight at QB, who never ended up enrolling at ND.
Bachmeier stated postgame that he felt “disrespected” by Notre Dame. When asked what happened, he simply responded, “There were some receipts kept.”
