Rings of Slop fans crying, weeping, tearing their hair out in my replies.
Listen up: They put this Galadriel/Sauron nonsense in here specifically for the degenerate, disgusting shipping communities.
Not only does it go completely against canon (much like the rest of this trash show), not only is it a spit in the face of Tolkien and the character of Galadriel, but it is also meant to cater to a group of individuals who write some of the most depraved, extreme sexual things you will find online.
That is why us Tolkien fans find this garbage to be so unbelievably abhorrent.
The days before the premiere of TROP I was so hyped, now after 5 episodes I don't care. I'm disappointed and mad. This show had to be nothing short of great, and for me it's so far from that. Maybe hiring showrunners with almost no experience wasn't the best idea.
Halbrand: "Let's try not to antagonize these people and show some restraint".
Halbrand 10 minutes later:
How the hell does Galadriel know black speech? 🤦🏻♂️ Also, not even the wisest elves in 3000 years could figure out that this symbol is a map of the Southlands? Let's be honest, they could have done better than that.

"What does it mean?"
"One who loves the stars."
"That is not its only translation, is it?"
"In the ancient tongue of the Eldar, it can also mean Elf-friend".

You know, I'll always keep it real about TROP and I have one thing to get off my chest. I think Galadriel's jump from the ship was near this circle in red. How the hell was she going to swim hundreds of miles across the ocean? 😒
