Bari Weiss just finished speaking at a ceremony in Berlin ahead of Peter Thiel being awarded the Axel Springer 2026 Award. (Sorry for the poor video quality.)
Weiss listed out some of her differences with Thiel. Among them: "And of course there's a difference in our attitude, at least sometimes, toward the press, and to the vital role that it plays in maintaining a liberal democracy. I view it as essential.
