An emotional interview between Tyler Stephenson and Jim Day ahead of tomorrow’s trade deadline. Tyler Stephenson, drafted in 2015 and debuted in 2020, is the longest tenured Red on the roster.

Nathan Kramer update: The McNick 6’5” RHP visited UC yesterday (Friday) to observe a bull pen session and speak with the Bearcat coaches. He was the only junior-to-be on the Midland Redskins club that went to the Connie Mack World Series in August. When I saw him at the Mine Performance Academy “Scout Day,” he was throwing in the low 90’s, but more importantly to me, it was very clear that he had the respect of all the other players at the event. When he pitched, everyone stopped to watch. Nathan holds a Cincinnati offer, and it certainly feels as if he is a priority for the Diamond Bearcats’ 2027 recruiting class.
