If you’re worried about apostasy in the American church but are supporting this presidential administration or Ken Paxton, @ZachWLambert is the least of your worries. Hint: if you don’t have a mirror handy, just flip the view on your phone camera.

Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway. To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back. Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.

"Hey Dario, congrats again on the great quarter. Nice to see the Enterprise re-acceleration. Hoping you could provide a little color on that 10% extinction # and some of the puts and takes that might have on further enterprise adoption. And then just a quick follow-up after"
Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

I’d be a lot more okay with the obvious collapse of this country if it didn’t include the dumbest, corniest crap imaginable. Seriously, does it have to be this embarrassing?!?

I’ve never seen nostalgia articulated so well in- 1) a picture, and 2) the first comment. The switch from soft orange light to pure white really did strip emotion out of a lot of our reality.

Let’s play this out. Let’s say you skip the MMR shot for your kid. He catches measles at school. A kindergartner down the hall is between chemo treatments for leukemia. Her doctors can’t vaccinate her, no matter how much they want to. Measles floats in that classroom’s air for two hours after your son leaves, so she never has to be in the room with him to catch it. Her immune system can’t fight off what a healthy kid’s body handles in a week. Same danger for the six-month-old child down the street, because they’re too young for their first dose. They’re only alive because everyone else in that building stayed vaccinated. One infected kid in a full room can infect twenty others. No common infectious disease spreads faster. Your decision about your own child just endangered other people’s children. This poor child is dead in Texas because her parents are idiots who think they’re smart. Full story below.

Who else faces consequences if I don’t get a vaccine?

Whatever you think about Fauci I will always remember that period in 2021 when our ICU was absolutely stuffed full of extremely sick Covid patients - and they were ALL unvaccinated It's now 2026 and all I hear every day here is "the vaccines didn't work" Complete nonsense

The memory-wiping is really something to behold.
I feel like I'm going insane. Do people genuinely not remember how terrifying the beginning of the pandemic was? How many people died and how little we knew about it? I sure remember my husband coming home from the hospital every day worried he'd bring a virus that would kill us.

I spent the last few months talking to people across the political spectrum, and to people who want nothing to do with politics at all. Here is what I learned. We are not a divided country. We are a country being divided, on purpose, by an American oligarchy that profits from the fight. They’ve captured our government, denied our healthcare, looted our treasury, and saddled us with crippling debt. I believe in a New New Deal. Healthcare as a human right. The right of every family to a decent home, and an end to endless wars. And a dividend paid to every American from the AI economy, because these machines were built on the whole of human inheritance. That inheritance belongs to all of us, and not just to the handful of men playing God with our very existence. And none of it happens if we just move on. Donald Trump, his family, and his administration are robbing us blind, not just of our money, but of our faith in one another, and they have to answer for it. Truth and reconciliation, not revenge. Then we break the system that let them do it. The question is not whether we will lose our democracy. The question is whether we will fight to take back what has already been stolen. I learned in recovery that you can’t heal what you won’t name. Neither can a country.

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began. The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start. Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have. If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.
