If they decide open borders are too radical, they get ZERO points. BBC Bitesize tells pupils that believing migrants take jobs from local people likely arises from prejudice! Children are encouraged to petition local government over Net Zero, told they may need to fly less and eat less meat, and introduced to the wonderful promise of a borderless world. The BBC appears to see its role as underpinning ‘correct’ thought and that legitimate contested political questions are settled science and only the global view wins the game!
