As part of my efforts to create jobs and boost IT, I was able to establish an internet cafe and business centre which begins operation today in Bauchi State.
The centre will offer Diploma and Certificate trainings on various computer operations apart from the business services.
Gov. Fubara: Mr. President, when Rivers was at a political crossroads, you intervened as a father and a true statesman and did not look away. As a government firmly in control at the grassroots, we will repay your kindness with our votes, loyalty and support.

while Amaechi of ADC said he does not need to campaign in Rivers, so let him not claim tomorrow that the election was rigged.

"Your Excellency, Siminalayi Fubara, the host Governor of today, I want to thank you specifically for maturity, understanding, respect for the wisdom of elders. When we intervene, you respected our position. You maintained peace. You are a committed democrat. Fubara, you will not regret what you have done. As long as all of us are alive." — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

"Instead of kicking the can down the road, instead of blaming his predecessor, the President had the moral courage and conviction to take the bull by the horns.
I am telling you this, fellow countrymen, not just as a politician, but as your countryman. Without those far-reaching decisions the President took on the removal of the fuel subsidy, the unification of the multiple exchange rate regimes, and crucial tax reforms, this country could have collapsed, and the future of 250 million Black people would have been thrown into jeopardy.
I assure you that the President has the best interests of the nation at heart. Through initiatives like the student loan scheme, we have made it possible for the children of the poor to attend school. Through consumer credit frameworks, we are reviving the Nigerian middle class, enabling citizens to own cars and appliances without resorting to endless hardship
The President is taking bold steps to reposition the agricultural industry, and rest assured that in the coming months and years, Nigeria will graduate into a true middle-income country and hit a $1 trillion economy within the next five to ten years.
So I want to say a big thank you. Rivers State has always known the difference between the noise of a crowd and the wisdom of a choice. In 2027, we ask you to make that distinction once again." - Vice President Kassim Shettima At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

"Hence, it is baffling, amazing, gratifying, and heartbreaking all at once that political charlatans on the other side of the divide are making efforts to demonize President Tinubu instead of celebrating him. As Alexander Pope put it, 'A little learning is a dangerous thing; drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring.'
Atiku Abubakar, tied to his school of thought, is intellectually malnourished and was ill-advised by some voodoo economists to resort to unsustainable subsidies. And my friend Peter Obi has ingeniously philosophized himself into political irrelevance. For eight years, he was governor of Anambra State, and his performance was, at best, mediocre. He was the chairman of a bank in Nigeria, and his performance there was equally mediocre, it was only after his exit that that particular bank began to thrive. While others were striving for global reach, Peter Obi was busy consuming his own Anambra State." - Vice President Kassim Shettima At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

"Our target here from the PCC is clear, and looking at the mobilization, we are expecting nothing less than 75 to 80% of the vote by God's grace.
Let me remind the opposition that nearly all the key contenders, from Kwankwaso and Peter Obi to Amaechi and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar served as governors between 1999 and 2007, just like President Tinubu did before becoming Vice President.
When President Tinubu took charge as Governor of Lagos State, the internally generated revenue (IGR) stood at just 600 million Naira. But he put solid mechanisms and foundations in place. Today, I understand from the Governor of Lagos that the monthly IGR has surpassed 100 billion Naira.
Mr. President, we are counting on you. The brilliant economic vision you used to scale Lagos's IGR from 600 million Naira to over 100 billion Naira over 25 years is the same foundation you are laying for Nigeria. Your grandchildren and future generations will never forget you, your legacy will forever remain etched in our minds." - DG AbdulAziz Yari At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

"Secondly, as is no longer news, the President is committed to reforming our national security architecture. He has created new military divisions, establishing more General Officer Commanding (GOC) setups and brigade commands across the country. This isn't just about creating positions for officers; it brings military institutions closer to the people to ensure rapid responses against criminals undermining our collective security.
The President isn't just promising to handle security, he has already put the tools in place. He has ordered massive recruitment into the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Civil Defence, Customs, and Immigration services. He has specific systems in place to apprehend anyone trying to threaten national security.
The next thing is agriculture. Across every part of this country, agriculture must be treated as a viable business, not peasant farming, but mechanized agribusiness. Specific policy tools have been implemented to ensure Nigeria makes a radical departure from the past. Just last week in the Senate, we discussed how to drive a real agricultural revolution, unlike the empty rhetoric of previous administrations.
Fourthly, we have transportation and infrastructure, which are essential drivers of growth. As the Governor noted yesterday, the construction of the Calabar-Lagos Coastal Highway isn't just to connect riverine communities; it is designed to facilitate seamless movement from Lagos through various states all the way to Calabar. But that is not all: the President is equally committed to regional balance by building a superhighway from Sokoto to Badagry. Once these projects are fully completed, life will be significantly easier.
The President also recognizes that you cannot move goods and services efficiently by road alone, no matter how solid the highways are." - Senator Adams Oshiomhole At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

"For example, here in Port Harcourt, those of you who aren't too young will remember when Michelin operated a tire-manufacturing plant right here. When was it shut down? It was closed down under Atiku Abubakar as Vice President and head of the Obasanjo administration's economic team. I actually went there at the time to fight for higher wages for the workers. Today, nobody is working there. If Michelin or another major tire manufacturer returns to Port Harcourt—whether you studied chemical engineering or computer engineering—wouldn’t you rather work there than seek a job in the civil service?
When we talk about inclusive growth, it means bringing back manufacturers who left, or replacing them with more efficient producers offering diverse products. By contrast, the reckless deregulation and complete abandonment of government responsibility under Atiku Abubakar turned the Nigerian market into a dumping ground for imported Michelin and Dunlop tires.
This President is taking decisive action so that we don’t labor away in poverty and lament high unemployment, but instead build specific institutions that drive broad-based growth. When the opposition talks about joblessness, ask them: what are their specific, concrete plans to fix it?". - Senator Adams Oshiomhole At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

"Mr. President, we all know that a good gesture calls for reciprocity. Just as you have stood for us, we will stand for you. As you have supported Rivers State, Rivers State will support you equally. As you seek the renewal of your mandate in the forthcoming presidential election, Rivers State will back you fully and completely.
As a government firmly in control at the grassroots, we will repay your kindness with our votes, our loyalty, and our support. We promise that under your guidance and under the leadership of our coordinator for the Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State, the Honorable Minister, we will win this campaign and mobilize our people to deliver a decisive victory with no less than three million votes for Mr. President.
Let me also place it on record that, although I am an APC member, Rivers State operates under a Rainbow Coalition. Under this coalition, we have a shared slate that spans across the APC and the PDP. We assure you that our combined slate will be delivered come January 2027.
Mr. President, I want to thank you once again for your love for Rivers State, for this region, and for the entire country."- Governor Sim Fubara At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

You reached out with a fatherly hand, called for peace and harmony, intervened directly, and made personal sacrifices so that our administration could remain standing and continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the good people of Rivers State.
Today, by the mercy of Almighty God and your fatherly intervention, Rivers State is peaceful.
On behalf of the government and the people of Rivers State, I say thank you. Thank you for standing with us during our most difficult moments. Thank you for your love and support for Rivers State." - Governor Sim Fubara At #RenewedHopeInRivers.

"Let me also state that we are not worried about campaigning. All we are asking the ADC Vice Presidential candidate to do is come and give an account of how he "fumigated" Rivers State. He claimed he fumigated the state so there would be no mosquitoes. But has the mosquito population gone down? Are mosquitoes not still biting you? This is the same man claiming that just as he "fumigated" Rivers State, he will fumigate Nigeria.
We are not worried, all we ask is for accountability. Show us where the foundation is for the specialist hospital project, for which $39 million USD, now worth over 53 billion Naira, was paid. Show us the foundation of the Cardi B White Hospital. I don't need to say much more. January 17 is right around the corner. I can assure you that by 11:00 AM on election day, you will hear them announce that they are pulling out because the election was "rigged."
That is the same pattern he followed in 2015 and 2019 when he served as the Director-General of the APC presidential campaign, where he failed to secure even 15% of the vote.
Today, he stands as a vice presidential candidate, but I do not know where his platform really stands.
Ikwerre Local Government Area, are you here? If you are here, stand up and let me see you. Your Excellency, this is Ikwerre Local Government Area, the home of Rotimi Amaechi.
Thank you, and welcome to Rivers State." - Minister Nyesom Wike At #RenewedHopeInRivers
"Yesterday, I heard someone ranting on News Central, asking why we are worried about campaigning every day. He claimed he doesn't worry because he is so popular that he doesn't need to campaign. Let it be on record that the Vice Presidential candidate of the ADC told the world he does not need to campaign in Rivers State. Let him not claim tomorrow that he campaigned and the election was rigged. He did not campaign, and nobody is going to vote for him.
Remember, in 2023, the same presidential candidate defined who a "brother" is. He said a brother is someone who identifies with your problems when you are facing challenges. He stated that political brotherhood has nothing to do with blood relations. Isn't that so?
So, who is our brother now? Our brother is Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He identifies with the people of Rivers State: he completed the Port Harcourt road project, and he established the Federal University of Environment in Ogoni. In fact, since the return to democracy in 1999, Rivers people have never had it this good, we have received no fewer than 47 political appointments from Mr President." -

Through landmark federal investments like the Bodo-Bonny Road and Bridges, massive clean energy access with the REA DARES solar hybrid mini-grids, and sweeping educational and healthcare upgrades, federal presence is stronger than ever.
But true progress cannot thrive without stability. When severe political crises, factional gridlocks, and asset vandalism threatened to pull the state apart, President Tinubu stepped in as a stabilizing force, utilizing constitutional measures, late-night peace accords, and multi-stakeholder interventions to de-escalate tensions and protect democratic governance.
From expanding critical road networks to powering communities and investing heavily in human capital, the #PBATImpact is heavily felt across Rivers State.
