It’s become a regular journey for me catching the 06:44 from Preston to Carlisle to pick up 1M00 for Lumo. The days are definitely getting shorter. Sunrise over Lowgill Viaduct.

Finally! It’s taken many years of trying but today managed to drive from Carlisle to Carnforth without touching the brakes. It went so well actually managed to get all the way to Fylde Junction Preston before having to brake.
Something lurking behind the RES platform at Preston this morning as I caught my train to Carlisle. Another exciting day on Lumo for me.

A rare sight this Lunchtime in Stafford. Swapping 222605 for 222603 due to a broken outer window pane. Shortish run for me Central Rivers to Stafford and return, after a couple of days on the 508 mile PN102 turn.
Swapping @LumoTravel 222’s for maintenance today at Central Rivers. 222601 left on the fuel point viewed from the cab off 222603, shortly before departure to Crewe.
Having followed me up a wet WCML from Weaver Junction to Euston, 807010 pulled along side mine into Platform 2. Not to everyone’s taste that livery but quite like it. @LumoTravel 08:04 Carlisle - Euston again for me with 222604, after a set swap at Lancaster.
Well feet up now after another interesting week. 2540 miles driven on 222601, 5 round trips Carlisle - London Euston - Preston. Also an opportunity to add to the Colwich collection with a fortuitous hold there.

The unusual Saturday 1A02 Crewe - Euston Lumo Service. After a unit swap so 604 could go to Central Rivers. Paused at Milton Keynes as I was a tad early.
