Don’t look now but the #NERevs have jumped up to 4th in the supporters shield standings. They’ve played 5 of their last 6 on the road, winning 4.

One of those rare games where I’m less concerned than average it seems. Galaxy’s strategy of press like crazy and hit long balls with the first touch worked early when it needed to. That forced the #NERevs to play from behind on the road against a set defense.

PK comes off a misplay by Fofana. LA took 4 shots from open play after they got their PK in the 11’. #NERevs still need more from ST, but we knew that already. A 2-1 road loss where you take 19 shots in the box & hit the woodwork 3 times against a set D… 🤷‍♂️ I’m not panicking

My read on the first half is: yeah that was bad. But not as bad as it seems. LA got the early PK and have had the luxury of packing numbers behind the ball. Galaxy bullying the #NERevs in midfield, playing aggressive and physical. NE needs to find a counter in the 2nd

For years, everything the #NERevs did ran through Carles Gil. The team’s attack is more varied now, which is a good thing. It doesn’t mean that Gil is declining.

Become increasingly clear that Mitrovic views Miller as best utilized on the forward wing as opposed to wingback. Don’t like it, but if your top choice for wingers are going to be Harrison and Miller that leaves Langoni as the odd man out. Need a big return if true. #NERevs

I will note that while I have no reason to doubt the veracity of this rumor: “#NERevs conveniently negotiating trade with team they most recently negotiated trade with” does give me a moments pause.

I have no use for this stat now but… The #NERevs have won away at Montreal each of the last two seasons. Their records after that? 2025: 2W-4D-12L (0.55ppg) 2024: 1W-2D-7L (0.5ppg) Maybe a draw was just what they needed.
