Straights: This is where having more than one queer friend might save you. If you only have one, they might also be that friend who is a complete chaos goblin who will just nod and smile. Backup is essential.
Now they ruled out sepsis. Say it’s viral, but not sure what. Kid should keep taking antibiotics (why?) but they have none. Mother going to every pharmacy in lower mainland looking. 🤡. Totally not a banana republic. She’s now got COVID. @adriandix I guess your plan is working?
Hey @adriandix are you aware that Surrey Memorial Hospital is unable to treat a child’s sepsis due to no antibiotics AND they have no general anaesthetics for surgery should it be required? Not to mention being short staffed? Is this you being the best at what you do or should /1

I dried my kids top with the hair dryer and had to say “your jacket is now dry”. If you get the reference we should be friends.

I prefer the attitude established in Canada, decades ago.
I hope those of you who willingly allowed yourselves to be on infection 3+ by now by living your best lives and believing the totally real science that is “immunity debt” are having a cold-sweat moment.
German Health Minister: Anyone who gets infected with corona more often runs the risk of developing an incurable immune deficiency.
Roughly 50 scientific papers showing this now.

They have to provide -PCR tests, sit by HEPA machines and under UVC 222nm lamps. They wear thick winter coats indoors because the windows are left open.
The most powerful people on the planet CHOOSE to meet like this in 2023. They know. The public don’t. jessicawildfire.substack.com…
I don’t see the attraction of going through hell to get a job a some FAANG company, being worked to death for 4 months and then finding out you were let go when your keycard won’t work. I guess some want the cachet of having worked at these places on their Resume.

@LifeLabs your staff need to be wearing respirators. Enough of Bonnie's droplet dogma. You can't plead ignorance 4 years into this. Lives are at stake.
Look at this prick. Dr Death right here. Imaging this being your doctor. Imagine this guy is your oncologist.

“The problem wasn’t that a 6 year got hold of a gun and shot his teacher - the problem was the teacher wasn’t armed and had no Kevlar vest on. This is what happens when you have Democrats in the Oval Office.” - some American somewhere probably.
Just waiting for DBH to go on TV and slowly turn to the camera, patronizing smile gone, and tell the viewers to go to their masked neighbours and drag them into the street and cough into their mouths, for the glory of the empire.

The idea that "vulnerable people" should stay home forever and never participate in society again is rich coming from the people who had meltdowns about being asked to do that exact same thing themselves for even one month to save lives. Remember "flatten the curve"?! Good times.
A big thank you to all of you happy to infect yourselves with every new variant out there. It really helps scientists study the effects without any of that ethics crap. And it’s super easy to categorize you based on your social media content.
I got the whole embarrassing zoom “Andy, you’re on mute mate” thing out of the way yesterday so I’m good for another 12 months now. It’s good to get these things done at the start of the year.
