Philadelphia schools have been involved in indoctrinating students with false information and now Watlington is playing dumb and turning a blind eye. The school board never believes what is happening under their watch. 543 pages of evidence in this report just from Philly
🚨 NEW REPORT: Antisemitism isn't just happening in America's classrooms. It's being written into the curriculum. Committee Republicans' investigations into school districts in Philadelphia and Berkeley, along with the nation's largest teachers union, NEA, uncovered antisemitic materials in classroom curricula, troubling conduct by educators, and failures to adequately address antisemitism. Jewish students deserve classrooms free from antisemitism—not schools that perpetuate it. Read the full report here ⬇️ edworkforce.house.gov/news/d…

Nobody wants to change the system, cause the system works for politicians. Asking for any changes is Dead on Arrival. This was tried in 2010 and the same structural racial issues still exist in Philly. Saying it out loud and asking for changes will get your branded is a racist.

I had to go to MSB to renew a license. I need tax clearance first. What was the problem? An outstanding balance on my condo I sold in 2021. They have the deed and still charged me. Also needed a filings for 2025 BIRT with a zero income return. Paperwork disaster is normal at MSB

The ban on skilled gaming machines is good. I think it’s positive that they are being removed. “Skilled gaming” is a euphemism / BS in the current age of the computer gambling and is just as bad as the proliferation of other gambling platforms. Kudos for not making a new tax

It’s no wonder why our kids can’t read or write. “in order to create systemic change, we must change the way that people raise children.” Its framework has already been piloted in FOUR Philadelphia public elementary schools: Adaire, Vare-Washington, Kearny and Spring Garden.
REVEALED: Preschool teachers were offered training on preparing children for “a lifetime of justice work.” The workshop was literally called: “Nurturing Future Activists.” Advertised at an April 2026 Pennsylvania summit for educators teaching PRESCHOOL through second grade, it promised classroom ideas teachers could implement immediately. The same summit promoted “Radical Morning Meeting” training from Philly Children’s Movement. Here’s how that organization describes its mission: “in order to create systemic change, we must change the way that people raise children.” Its framework has already been piloted in FOUR Philadelphia public elementary schools: Adaire, Vare-Washington, Kearny and Spring Garden. The group traces its origins to a children’s march supporting Black Lives Matter. Its event history includes protests against Moms for Liberty. Then there’s Rutgers. A university-produced curriculum names the group as a partner and includes a third-grade unit called: “Becoming an Activist for Racial Justice.” Activities include creating chants, songs and protest signs. The curriculum asks teachers: “Am I engaging students in activism and taking action in their schools and communities?”

Found this book in a church flea market in Newtown Square this weekend. Great little book. Your Jewish neighbors have been in South Philly for a long time. My grandfather was born in South Philly in 1912. Just saying we have been here a long time.

Netivot is the sister city of Philadelphia in Israel. The city is only a few miles from the Gaza border as was one of first cities Hamas tried to attack. It has received considerable $$ from the Philly Jewish community which helped in the defense on 10/7. jewishphilly.org/resources/i…

They are cooking the books and even the teachers and principals are calling it out. While Immigration is a small problem with enrollment, Parents realize that the education their kids are receiving suck and they are moving for better options. This is fraud by the School Board

Parker was always an imperfect Mayoral candidate. In a 6 way race for name recognition/ turnout, she won with less than 90K votes. Voter turnout of ~27%. I think she’s has done well for another term. But it’s a shame there is no charismatic R or Ind to also challenge her in Nov.

Brett McGurk, one of the Biden administration’s most senior officials, was interviewed on Dan Senor’s podcast (full disclosure, etc.) and rebutted a long list of claims and myths regarding the hostage deal. It is very much worth listening to, especially given that he served in an administration that clashed with Israel to the point of imposing an arms embargo. Brett McGurk’s five main points about the negotiations to free the hostages: 1. “They could have brought everyone home almost immediately” — McGurk: absolute bullshit According to him, a comprehensive deal in the early stages would effectively have required surrendering to Hamas’s terms, and even then there was no reason to assume Hamas would release everyone. The U.S. assessment was that Hamas intended to hold some of the hostages for years as bargaining chips. 2. The first deal collapsed because of Hamas — and the dispute was over the young women McGurk says Hamas tried to move on to releasing older men while it was still holding young women alive. From Israel’s perspective, agreeing to skip over them could have amounted to a death sentence for those women. Israel therefore insisted on completing that category, and Hamas stopped the releases. 3. Before the Rafah operation, there was no deal that Hamas was prepared to accept According to McGurk, Israel agreed to several very difficult proposals, including the release of prisoners convicted of serious offenses, and Hamas rejected them. Hamas also did not accept the Israeli proposal that Biden publicly announced. McGurk stresses that there was no point before Rafah when a deal was truly within reach. Moreover, Hamas would have waited years before releasing everyone. 4. Biden’s pressure to stop before Rafah was not because Israel had torpedoed a deal According to McGurk, by that stage Biden had simply reached the limits of his tolerance for the war and the regional crisis. The U.S. pushed for a reduction in fighting during Ramadan—a move that McGurk says actually reduced Hamas’s incentive to compromise in the negotiations. 5. Sinwar and military pressure were the key McGurk says that as long as Yahya Sinwar was alive, he saw no realistic possibility of a deal. This includes the killing of the six hostages, an episode that was portrayed here as the government having sacrificed them. The Rafah operation was part of the sequence of events that ultimately led to Sinwar’s killing, and according to McGurk, military pressure was what brought Hamas to the points at which it agreed to deals. In his view, military pressure and a hostage deal were not alternatives—the pressure was the leverage that made the deals possible.
