“…This is a direct hit with drones and missiles, and they keep hitting them. It’s sending a message that they’re targeting American business. We’re not seeing any response from the White House,” Hunder told CNN.
As President Donald Trump and his administration have ratcheted up pressure on Ukraine to stop striking Russian refineries, citing harm to American consumers, they have remained silent on recent Russian strikes on US businesses in Ukraine. cnn.it/4B7gcW0
Russia is targeting American business and we’re not seeing any response from the White House.
Russian missiles and drones have damaged facilities belonging to some of America’s most notable brands.
American interests, American money, American investors are being targeted and hit in Ukraine while the White House remains silent.
More details from me on edition.cnn.com/2026/10/14/p…
AmCham Ukraine member companies are actively preparing for another harsh winter during war. In this latest survey we have studied companies’ financial resilience, operational resilience, human capital management resilience, and cyber resilience. Electricity outages are still the top challenge for 62% of businesses in Ukraine

Russia is deliberately targeting iconic American businesses in Ukraine with missiles and drones - hitting and destroying facilities belonging to Coca-Cola, Boeing, PepsiCo, McDonalds, Cargill, Oreo and many more members of the American @ChamberUkraine
An intentional assault on American economic interests and a direct humiliation of U.S. enterprise.
Yet, the White House remains silent.
When American interests are being hit, silence is not a strategy, but an invitation for more escalation. It's time to speak up and protect American interests. Hold Moscow accountable.
Unable to break through Ukraine’s army on the front lines, Russia continues its cowardly attacks on civilian infrastructure. Today it has been targeting the very bridges that connect the capital.
A desperate reaction to its military failure. You cannot bomb the resilience out of Ukrainians. Kyiv stands strong, united, and unbroken.
In broad daylight this hospital in central Kyiv was struck today by Putin’s campaign of terror.
Over the past fortnight we have witnessed a systematic pattern:
• Hospitals bombed in broad daylight.
• Pharmaceutical warehouses systematically targeted and burned to the ground.
• $84 million of life-saving medicines from multinational pharmaceutical companies destroyed.
The Russians are trying to cut off care and burn down the supply chain. This terror against civilians, medical personnel, and healing spaces must stop immediately.
Standing here outside the @dobrobut_mc medical center, a proud member of the @ChamberUkraine the reality of Russia's brutal campaign is stark and undeniable.
Grateful to all who continue to work in Ukraine’s healthcare sector everyday during this brutal war.
Friday afternoon borshch in central Kyiv. An air raid siren wails, and drones buzz overhead.
It has been a brutally tough week for businesses here. Russia is failing on the front lines, so they’ve shifted their strategy to targeting our economy and trying to crush our livelihood. So many of our members' businesses have been hit directly.
Here we stand. Kyiv stands. Ukraine stands. And our business community stands united.
More and more jet-powered drones flying over Kyiv during the daytime keep us working underground, sometimes for hours at a time.
Businesses continue to adapt, with safety and security the number one priority.
As Russia deliberately destroys American business interests in Ukraine, Washington stays silent.
“…Andy Hunder, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, “called on Trump to stand up for American business in Ukraine, to stand up for the values America was built on and to show Putin that the United States protects its own”. Trump replied tersely that he was not happy.
In February 2026, Hunder did manage to mobilize a bipartisan group of senators in defense of American business and to shake a resolution out of them, one that referred explicitly to targeted attacks on American companies operating in Ukraine. It changed nothing”.
Read the article by Dzerkavo Tyzhnya on Russia's attacks on business operating in Ukraine:
Gathered in central Kyiv 700 global thought leaders, including 90 representatives from the United States, featuring three senators, five congressmen, came together for #YES2026 Yalta European Strategy conference, around a singular, critical focus:
Peace Through Strength Now.
We are meeting at one of the most demanding phases of this war. Ukraine is navigating severe economic pressures as ongoing Russian strikes continue to target civilian infrastructure in a deliberate attempt to break the country's economic resilience
@yes_ukraine
Standing here at this petrol station in Kyiv after today's unprecedented daylight attack, the reality of Russia's desperation is on full display. This is the first time a gas station in the capital has been hit in broad daylight.
Why are they doing this? Because they are losing on the front lines. Unable to break the Ukrainian Armed Forces—the most powerful army in Europe—they are lashing out at civilian infrastructure. With over 1.5 million Russian casualties and mounting daily losses, the invaders are failing on the battlefield and resorting to a cowardly war against businesses and civilians.
They can target a gas station in broad daylight, but it only proves how desperate and defeated their campaign has become.
This is the holiest site in all of Ukraine: the 11th-century Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv. This is the exact history and origin that Putin desperately wants to claim as his own.
Today, the church has launched a brand-new English-language audio tour. I recorded the tour myself, and you can come listen to it right on your AirPods in my voice to learn why this site matters so much.
Come see where it all began. God bless all.
Hidden in the Mountains of Western Ukraine I stumbled upon “The Purgatory” - a very narrow, 22 centimeter-wide mountain passage.
Like a Medieval Stone City - this site is part of a 60-million-year-old sandstone rock and cave complex hidden in Ukraine’s Carpathian forests.
Legend folklore says that squeezing completely through this tight rock passage cleanses your soul.
A Robin Hood's hideout, this was the fortress of Oleksa Dovbush, Ukraine’s very own Robin Hood who fought for the oppressed.
Brutally difficult to cross, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army used these cliffs to fight off Soviet occupiers all the way until 1956.
Was blessed to have had a short end of summer break and we managed to spend a few days in the tranquility and natural beauty of western Ukraine.
Closed skies have changed how we travel, but they’ve led us to places we might have otherwise missed. My first time at the Hoshiv Monastery in Western Ukraine, standing before the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary alongside the resident monks, was a moment I won't forget.
In a time of war, faith is an anchor. After the quiet of the church, the shared prayer, and the warmth of the community, one truth resonates above all: the monastery stands, Ukraine stands, and we stand united.
I used to walk down this exact Lviv street to visit my late in-laws, who lived in the building next door.
Today, this residential block is a ruin bombed by Putin’s missile last month.
We are just 50 miles from the EU border, yet the brutal reality of this war hits right here on a deeply personal street.
Culture, warmth, and resilience define Lviv, but this terror must be stopped and punished
Sleepless night in the shelter, followed by a deafening daytime explosion right here in central Kyiv.
Russia is escalating its terror, combining night ballistic missiles and drone swarms with daytime strikes.
Today alone, we’ve already had five air raid sirens.
Russia is failing on the front lines, so they are targeting cities and civilians.
We are drained, but we are unbowed.
Kyiv stands. Ukraine stands. United and unbreakable 🇺🇦
Ukraine is open for business, and our commitment has never been stronger.
We were delighted to bring together the vibrant business community in central Kyiv yesterday evening to celebrate Ukrainian Independence Day and celebrate freedom.
The atmosphere here today tells a clear story: the dynamic business community in Ukraine is active, operational, and deeply committed.
American Chamber of Commerce @ChamberUkraine - serving our members in Ukraine since 1992
Old Ukrainian tradition says that if you find yourself standing between two people with the same name, you can close your eyes and make a wish.
Standing between two Andys in Kyiv is Ukraine’s new PM @KoretskyiUA with new UK Prime Minister @andyburnham on one side and yours truly @AndyHunder on the other.
A powerful speech by the UK PM in Kyiv yesterday on Independence Day where he said:
“My nation kept the flame of European freedom alive in the 20th century, you hold that flame in the 21st.”
We have one wish in Ukraine today. The fight for freedom continues.
Thank you Andy Burnham for coming to Kyiv and for all the support
