Some observations on Tesla $TSLA
1) In the last 3 years, there've been ~10 times where RSI on the Daily broke below 29 (currently at 28). A RSI below 30 typically indicates a security is oversold, however it's just 1 indicator.
2) 3 of those 10 times occurred when the price of the stock was above its 200MA (red line). Recall Tesla has been in a downtrend since 2021
3) On the weekly, Tesla broke above its 20MA (yellow line), back-tested, but broke right through it and couldn't find support, and now broken below the 200MA. Not a good sign.
4) The stock has sat below the weekly 200MA only 4 times in the last 4 years. There might be some short-term pain before it finds a bottom.
5) To limit any further downside it'd be nice to see $TSLA close the week above $219. RSI on the weekly currently at 41.8 (not too oversold just yet).
6) Personally, think we'll probably revisit low $200s soon. $200 is MAJOR psychological support where I expect a bounce. Can definitely add here for long-term positions.
7) I do like that on the weekly, all the short-term moving averages still remain above their longer-term (aka 20 > 50 > 200). This obviously can change.
8) Macro: Market is realizing that rate cuts may not occur as soon as anticipated, which has a big impact on the auto sector where rates remain elevated. This will affect Tesla's margins maybe for another 1Q (again, short-term pain but we know Tesla is more than just a car company - check the S-curve adoption photo)
9) Institutional ownership of Tesla is LOW (sub 60%) compared to the other MEGA caps $MSFT $AAPL $GOOGL $AMZN $META $NVDA. Tesla might be the
10) While other companies are more focused on experimental AI, Tesla already has REAL WORLD AI applications, with FSD (its self-driving technology), AI in its manufacturing facilities, energy storage, etc. It's growth levers (e.g., data from its fleet + network effects) are SO underappreciated by the market. There will come a time where this dissonance is eliminated. Stay the course and like my friend @investanswers says, "Be in disruption, be where the puck is going"
11) Please do NOT short Tesla unless you like losing money :)

The #Bitcoin halving is only 3 months away.
When it happens the inflation rate will be cut in half, making it MUCH cheaper to keep the price where it is and/or bring it higher, and almost impossible to drop the price for months after this occurs.
Bitcoin will be successful, like it has been for the last 15 years!!!!
The miners ( $CLSK, $MARA, $RIOT, $HUT, $BITF, $CIFR) will operate with a 2-4x multiple of $BTC's returns. 👀
This is a NO BRAINER 🧠 for people who get it and believe in Bitcoin's future!

Market Wrap - Friday - 1/12/24
Portfolio = Down $210,000 across all accounts.
1. I believe the biggest thing that kept us risk off again today was fear about escalation in the Red Sea (#Russia threatened to retaliate for the attacks on #Yemen) and the #Taiwan election this weekend, because people are worried about China's reaction to it. <-- I think both of these are nothing burgers.
2. The above fears shot $OIL up over 3% early in the day and then it petered out and closed down by the end. So, people want to be worried, but they just can't seem to be. :)
3. THERE IS NO #INFLATION!!! The #PPI did a great job of showing that producers aren't seeing it at all. If anything they might start seeing deflation soon. This also pushed the odds of a March cut to almost 80%.
4. #Bitcoin got crushed again today, because of the pressure being put on the price, from @Coinbase continuing to pull from their Bitcoin reserves, in order to keep the price down. Why would they do this? Because they want "Boomer" new ETF entrants to have the ability to get in (Buy the dip), before pulling from spot and sending the price higher. Think about it. You want these people not to get screwed out of the gate. And instead to make a bunch of money and then tell their friends. <--- My take.
5. The S&P500 $SPX and Nasdaq 100 $NDX closed up today. Other indices did alright too. So, far these charts look very stable, IMO.
6. Back to #Bitcoin. Prices on miners are near rock bottom levels. If you're not in miners yet, and you've been miner curious, I would highly suggest you start shopping around and get your toes wet.
In summary, all eyes should be on the Red Sea and China's reaction to Taiwan over this weekend.
If things don't escalate, and #earnings, which kick into overdrive next week, end up being decent.
I think we're back in the game.
OK. YOU MADE IT THIS FAR! SO, if you like this new format, show me by sharing it with others.
