Shocking details have emerged about Nathan Cleary’s horror ankle injury.
Cleary suffered a double compound fracture, with a bone protruding through the skin. Penrith staff helped paramedics keep his leg straight to protect the blood supply to his foot, with Cleary now facing up to six months on the sidelines.
Cleary also entered the game with a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot, which will require surgery.
Blaize Talagi has ruptured his Achilles and is also facing up to six months out, while Dylan Edwards will undergo scans later this week to determine the extent of his PCL injury and whether surgery is required.

Nathan Cleary has undergone surgery on his fractured leg and has begun his rehabilitation.
Cleary suffered a compound leg fracture and will also require treatment for a broken foot on the opposite leg.
Blaize Talagi will also undergo surgery after rupturing his Achilles, while Dylan Edwards suffered a torn PCL in Penrith’s preliminary final loss.
Isaah Yeo is also facing a decision on whether to undergo surgery on his torn pectoral after playing through the finals. (@DaveRic1)

Chris Kenny reminds us that during COVID, the government intervened to have posts taken down from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram 4,213 times in less than three years. That's about four a day.
When the posts were finally revealed, much of what was censored was factual.

In 2015 the EU tried to force Poland to take in migrants from the Middle East and Africa, but Poland REFUSED.
When Belarus started pushing migrants at its border in 2021, Poland didn't let them in and then pay for their housing, food, and healthcare like so many Western countries do. Instead, it built a steel wall more than 100 miles long and put soldiers on it.
Today Polish cities are some of the safest in Europe. People can actually walk around at night without looking over their shoulder. This didn't happen by accident. It happened because their leaders chose their OWN citizens first.
