The Secretary who oversaw the elimination of more IRGC terrorists than any of his predecessors, by a staggering margin, is now the one being put on the chopping block. The people who actually take the fight to terrorists are being pushed aside, while the swamp continues to tolerate policies that funnel money to the very regimes and networks threatening American lives. We are watching a dangerous inversion of priorities. The war with Iran should have ended faster, yes, but more senior leaders were killed in Iran in the last year, than in Afghanistan in 20 years. And anyone who is honest, knows that is true.
JUST IN - Thomas Massie will trigger a House vote next week to impeach War Secretary Pete Hegseth over what he calls an illegal war with Iran, with multiple GOP sources saying the measure is likely to pass.

There's a lot of truth here - but leftists actually don't want abundance. They want scarcity so they can govern it and centrally allocate it to clients.
After DOGE, Elon came to a conclusion most people missed. He tried to reform the state from the inside. He failed. And he said it plainly: the government can't fix its own deficit. Nobody in power actually wants to cut. The machine protects itself. So he drew the only logical conclusion. If the state can't be reformed, there are only two ways this ends. Either global bankruptcy. Debt keeps compounding, interest payments eat the budget, and the system collapses under its own weight. Or robots. AI and robotics grow the economy so fast that the debt becomes manageable, and abundance makes the old fights over scarcity irrelevant. Here's the part almost nobody sees. For two centuries, capitalism has had a marketing problem. Its gains are real but slow and invisible. 2% growth a year doesn't feel like anything. Your life gets better over 30 years and you never connect it to the system that did it. Meanwhile, the left's promises feel immediate and concrete: a check, a subsidy, a benefit. That's why the left wins on promises even when it can't deliver them. Capitalism produces the wealth, socialism takes the credit. Robots break that asymmetry. When productivity doubles in a few years instead of a few decades, people will see it. Things get cheaper, services get better, opportunities appear, in real time. For the first time in history, people will connect capitalism and their rising standard of living directly, almost instantly. The causal chain becomes visible. And that changes everything politically. So there are two scenarios. Scenario one: we stay in the current inertia. No breakthrough, or a breakthrough we regulate to death. The debt wins. Living standards stagnate, then fall. A frustrated electorate turns to whoever promises the most, and that pushes toward a hard collectivist left. But collectivism fails, as it always does. And when it fails, the most organized, most disciplined collectivist force left standing isn't the old left. It's radical Islamism. Bankruptcy, then communism, then something worse. Scenario two: robots win. Abundance arrives, and it arrives visibly. The link between free enterprise and prosperity becomes obvious to everyone. And this is the key point: it becomes obvious to everyone, including the minorities the left was counting on. Because their long-term incentive is the same as everyone else's. A kid in the suburbs gains infinitely more from a booming, abundant West than from a bankrupt state handing out promises it can't keep. Abundance is the most powerful integration machine ever built. That's the Western renaissance. The West doesn't need to win the culture war by arguing. It needs to win it by delivering. And for the first time, it has the technology to deliver fast enough for people to notice. The race isn't left vs right anymore. It's robots vs bankruptcy.

Democrats won enough trifectas last night to theoretically obtain an absolute majority of the electoral college for the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and they certainly have Congressional majorities large enough to authorize such a compact. The only question is whether it would survive a court challenge. If they win the Presidency in 2028 and stack the Supreme Court as many Dems have threatened to do the moment they have the votes, there’s a chance that we will never again have Presidential elections in America decided by the Electoral College. I do not think people fully understand yet that Democrats won enough elections last night to permanently change this country in a way that may make things impossible to ever undo. Political parties operate off incentives. Their goal is to win elections, not permanently pander to a specific demographic constituency. While they can spend years or even decades in the wilderness, eventually, someone will look at the median voter and determine that he too can win an election by pandering to everyone to the Left or Right of that individual. So what happens when one side of the equation permanently changes the rules so that the median voter shifts from someone living in Ohio to say someone living in Virginia? The Beautiful Losers may not immediately return to power tomorrow, but make no mistake they are quietly waiting in the wings, hoping that Democrats change the rules of the American electoral process in order to permanently enshrine them as the natural controlled opposition.
If the remaining results go as expected, Democrats will hold governorships in states totaling 392 electoral votes.

There will now be two megachurch pastors in the Senate, but they're both Democrats so there will be zero thinkpieces about a threat to separation of church and state or the rise or Christian nationalism.

They have taken hold of the election system and they will never let it go. They will force judges into the Supreme Court. They will run one impeachment & false prosecution after another. They will bankrupt the country, open the border & it is open season on women & girls. All those acting like this is just another election are completely blind. They will persecute & torment law enforcement, especially ICE agents and people will be so afraid of them, they will do nothing for the next two years, if Trump lasts that long. If they can impeach him & Vance & put the Speaker of the House in the White House, Hakeem Jeffries will be running the country. And they will go after Trump & his followers with a vengeance. The Jan 6 prosecutions will look like a picnic. They already have lawsuits ready & lists to target. People will be afraid & start to self-censor. How do I know this? They already told us. And we have seen part of this movie before.

Huge night, yuge, for DSA freaks and weirdos. The hypothesis that libs will ‘vote blue no matter who’ has been validated. DSA is going to streamroll the party establishment which is what all the progressives (even the fake moderates) have wanted for a while now. The teleology of their project is going to play out.

I really question whether Republicans can bounce back from this in '28. Democrats are more committed than ever to maintaining permanent blanket control of the government. Republicans act like it's still the '80s.
It’s going to be two years of investigations, hearings, probably impeachments. Possible silver lining - the democrats usually overplay their hand when they feel the wind in their sails. People might get tired of the grandstanding - and the GOP could bounce back in 28.

Another big takeaway from tonight is that the DSA style candidates can and will win, and that the Dems will continue to move left because the far left progressive flank and DSA adjacent professionals run the party apparatus now.
