Malu Niko is a skilled shooter who can score from almost anywhere. He’s fearless in taking shots and can drive to the rim to finish through contact. As a dynamic guard at Benson HS, he’s part of a strong returning group from last year’s state tourney run. @Malu5niko

The player who caught the most eyes at the Spotlight Invitational was 2028 Ambrose Gardner. He impressed the crowd with his athleticism; at 6'2, he played above the rim and blocked shots effectively. Gardner plays with great energy and does whatever it takes to win for his team.

Max Ainsworth is a talented floor general and is one of the most exciting guards to watch! This weekend, Ainsworth showed his craftiness with the ball and found his teammates in transition. Marshfield's trio of Salter, Ainsworth, and Vinyard is poised for a great season in 26-27!

Arguably the best player at the 4A level this coming season is Ryder Powell (Banks), and he is only a sophomore! He continued to show his range as a shooter and quickness getting downhill. One of the top 2029s in Oregon, Powell has been playing AAU with PortlandBoyzElite (3SSB)

2030 Ray Peterson Jr out of Jefferson HS was dominant today at the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase. He got to the rim with ease and continued to find his teammates in transition with precision! In the first game this morning, he had 16 Points and 8 Assists. @PrepHoopsOR
