Someone should take the code from BotMaker into Space Karen's office. He'll probably want that shut down when he misunderstands what it does 🤣
For those not aware, BotMaker is one of Twitter's most effective solutions for spam fighting: blog.twitter.com/engineering…

Now Musk says the top priority for the company this weekend is ensuring Twitter does an awesome job to support the World Cup, according to an all staff email.

If you’re wondering why Twitter is still up & running with the majority of hardcore engineers gone, it’s because many exceptional engineers over the years gave it all they had to ensure the platform scaled under any conditions.

Reminder that even if Twitter goes offline from an external/user perspective, the data warehouses will likely remain intact for much longer. Someone will still need to be responsible as a custodian for that data and the decommissioning process.
It's not unheard of for companies that downsize or go out of business to auction off equipment, which may include assets that have stored non-public data.

Elon: Listen, you need to know this will be a terrible, hostile place to work. And I need you all to affirmatively consent to this abusive sprint to make the company profitable for me. And at the end, I’ll still probably fire you. Cool?
Twitter engineers: No.
Elon: Wait, what?
