“Mainstream” media needs to realize it’s now officially the side chick. All Standard and Nation can do is focus on political squabbles. Digital and new-age media have officially surpassed them…
Local newspapers can’t even read the room, a Kenyan has shuttered what humans thought impossible and they don’t have it as a cover story lol. 🚮

Second amendment doesn’t seem so crazy when you witness a shop keeper trying to defend their property and livelihood does it?
France. A father defends his shop. His only source of income to feed his wife and children. They mock him. They beat him. They destroy everything. These are not criminals, they are terrorists. Europe is dying.

It’s only a matter of time before politicians buy Elon’s flying cars to evade the traffic and potholes on roads they themselves fail to maintain 🤣🤣🤣

Big news! Kenya’s been on the list for too long. I’m Curious what the last two action items are…?
Kenya has addressed 19 of the 21 action items set by the Financial Action Task Force, with six cleared in the past two and a half months, Financial Reporting Centre Director-General Naphtaly Rono told the National Assembly Committee on Delegated Legislation. Rono said the country expects to exit the grey list by April 2027, after being placed on it in February 2024 over gaps in its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing framework. The FRC also said regulations on proliferation financing will be presented to Parliament next week, and that recent amendments raised the bank cash withdrawal threshold to $15,000, about KSh1.8 million.

Let me give Rick Hendrick a call 📞
NASCAR needs to spread its wings internationally. Nairobi would be a good spot for it in Africa. The country music fans are already in place.

For the first time in a long-time, F1 comes back to the continent!
Africa, we’re back. 🌍 From the early 2030s, the African Grand Prix will join the calendar and take place in Bugesera, Rwanda 🇷🇼 #F1

Seems to be a fine line between user privacy and protecting the public. Once they let the “protecting the public” cat out of the bag, there will be little respect of privacy with AI platforms and government oversight

BREAKING: Federal agents raid Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, D.C., home early Monday morning, executing a search warrant around 6 a.m. The Justice Department confirms the warrant is part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation, but officials have not publicly identified the target or disclosed the nature of the probe. The search comes weeks after border czar Tom Homan confirmed an investigation involving the Minnesota congresswoman. Here we go again…
THE LARGEST BANKS IN THE US HAVE ENTERED THE CORRECTION TERRITORY. JP Morgan: -11% Bank of America: -19% Citigroup: -15% Wells Fargo: -18.5% Goldman Sachs: -24% Morgan Stanley: -19% US Bancorp: -15% Capital One: -25% PNC Financial: -16% BNY Mellon: -14% Even the KBW Nasdaq Bank Index, which tracks the 24 publicly traded U.S. banking stocks, is now down 14% from its August peak. What's even more interesting is that during the 2000, 2008, and 2020 market crashes, the KBW Nasdaq Bank Index peaked 4-8 months before the S&P 500 did. This means if the Bank Index continues to drop even with the S&P 500 hitting new highs, it could be a major warning sign for the US stock market.

The average yield on G7 10-year bonds is now higher than in 2008. And the trend is not in our favor. Are we cooked?

If you were to buy a 10 year treasury at 5.27% and the currency loses 90% of its value over that time period you will be left with an 83.29% loss, now it’s starting to make sense when Goldman Sachs admitted the long end of U.S. Treasury market is “totally bidless”

CHART OF THE DAY: The cost of hiring a supertanker to ship oil from the Persian Gulf to the Far East has climbed further, reaching ~$1.3 million per day. (It was less than $50,000 a day before the war started; and ~$1.1 million when I first published the chart in September)

#EthiopiaWatch🇪🇹: War has returned to Northern Ethiopia, namely Tigray, Amhara, and Afar. The war is also spreading into Eritrea, where today, Ethiopia just severed diplomatic relations with Eritrea. THE PEACE THAT WON ABIY A NOBEL PRIZE IS DEAD.
