Arsenal went a whole league season with no reds or penalties against them.
The ONLY team in history to ever do it.
Review panel found theyβd escaped THREE penalties, TWO straight reds and a second yellow.
7 decisions wrongly given in their favour.

β½ VAR, Tribalism and the Great Refereeing Excuse
The reaction to Liverpool's defeat against Arsenal has exposed something deeply troubling about modern football. Supporters are so consumed by defending their own colours that the officials responsible for enforcing the laws escape the scrutiny they deserve.
Arsenal fans have been quick to remind me that Trey Nyoni was fortunate to avoid punishment for his early challenges. Jurrien Timber's sustained shirt pull on Alexander Isak warranted a penalty. Both grievances deserve consideration. Both can be legitimate.
Then came the extraordinary inconsistency surrounding Noni Madueke. Alexis Mac Allister undoubtedly exaggerated minimal contact, yet we've witnessed dismissals for similar confrontations. Mac Allister was booked, Timber received a caution for his involvement, Madueke escaped one despite already being booked. Where is the consistency?
And what of Mac Allister's theatrics? Had Andoni Iraola, frustrated by Isak remaining upright despite being fouled, urged his players at half-time to make contact impossible for officials to ignore? We cannot know, but the possibility raises an uncomfortable question. Would such an instruction explain Mac Allister's reaction, even if it could never entirely excuse it?
Must players now collapse theatrically before officials recognise an offence? Has football adopted cricket's appeals system, where justice depends upon the enthusiasm of the complainant?
Even Andy Madley's apparent jovial exchanges with Arsenal players emerging for the second half raised eyebrows. Perhaps an entirely innocent moment, but such familiarity inevitably attracts attention when confidence in officiating is already fragile.
Arsenal's defensive discipline deserves admiration, their gamesmanship considerably less.
Yet Arsenal supporters bear no responsibility for refereeing decisions. Neither do Liverpool supporters. Their endless arguments and snipes at me and others on social media merely divert attention from those entrusted with applying the laws.
VAR promised clarity and consistency. Instead, we have acquired another expensive layer of confusion, producing decisions that remain bewilderingly subjective.
If technology cannot deliver meaningful improvement or accountability, football must seriously question what it has sacrificed to accommodate it.

Johannesburg is in ruins and senior ANC leaders want to spend their time on here going after me for daring to ask people to βvote wiselyβ.
That tells you everything you need to know about how we got here.

Hmmmm no. It absolutely does matter. If you intend voting for a bunch of clowns π€‘ we will all get to be governed by a circus πͺ.
So rather don't do that.

π¨ποΈ Roy Keane rips into referee Andy Madley for his officiating decisions after Liverpool 0β1 Arsenal at Anfield:
π£οΈ "Look, I don't want to stand here and take anything away from Arsenal. They came to Anfield, put their bodies on the line, got the goal, and defended like their lives depended on it. Job well done to them, credit where itβs due.
But we have to tell the truth about what we just watched out there. Andy Madley tonight... honest to God, it was a shocker. Absolute shocker.
This is a massive gameβfirst against third, Anfield packed out, global audienceβand youβve got a referee who looks completely out of his depth. Matches of this magnitude need to be managed by referees who understand the weight of the occasion. You can't be waving play on for two clear penalty shouts in the first half like you're refereeing a Sunday League park game! Jurrien Timber grabbing a handful of shirt inside the boxβhow is VAR not stepping in there? How is Madley standing five yards away and missing that?
Then in the second half, buying every little bit of contact, letting players stay down for three minutes to disrupt the tempo, and failing to control the game. It ruins the spectacle. When you come to a stadium like this for a top-of-the-table clash, you expect top-level officiating, not someone guessing his way through 90 minutes. He lost control of it, plain and simple, and at this level, that is nowhere near good enough."
Arsenal fans believe they are this this great team that can play out of any game state but truth be told they got a goal from a open play mistake and sat back with no intent to score afterwards. You cannot tell me you love watching your club play like that

So here's my view on it..
The Premier League can't have Man City winning the league as that would be so so embarrassing for them..
So who ever plays Arsenal are truly screwed...
They have already decided Arsenal will win the league to save face...
That penalty waved away proves this...
You'll see more of this as the season goes..

eNCA debate with Morero and Zille a disaster for the ANC. Dada seems incapable of acknowledging the water crisis in Joburg. Just horrendous preparation and callousness.
A rule of politics. Never dismiss an actual crisis. Acknowledge it. Apologise. Trying to act like it is nothing is amateurish and quite frankly stupid. Shows you to be completely delusional.
This is a fatal problem for the ANC as a whole. Trying to dress up garbage as gold. An inability to self reflect. To acknowledge complete and abysmal failure.
The ANC continues to campaign like it is the early 2000s. They are trapped in a box of their own making. Spouting communist nonsense talking points, calling each other comrade, and pseudo intellectualism like its the 1980s.
Meanwhile, people don't have water and rubbish is piling up in the streets in South Africa's biggest city.
The wake up is coming. A massive jolt.
